Can a food truck have ambiance? There is no website, check their FB for schedule or Black Abbey Brewery's site for days and hours. It is easy to pull in and pull out of the lot during slow hours for the brewery or when it is closed and ther are pinic tables outside if you don't want to eat in your car or take it to go. I havd the birria ramen which comes with 1 birria taco and a large container of ramen that I beleve is 2 packs of ramen that comes in the black package. This is comfort and convenience food, not a groumet food truck experince. I do not mean that as a insult because my taco was piping hot, well made, tastey, and was not sopping wet and falling to pieces. The ramen was good but I liked the peices of beef the best. I do not really eat instant Ramen much anymore since college and I struggled to finish the container but I think if you want something heavy after a night of drinking, this will work for you fine.

Besides the crazy loud generator, the ladies in the kitchen are kind and devoted to what they're doing. My only hang up is I can tell that some of their stuff is repurposed from other cheap products such as fire cheetos or microwaveable noodle packets, etc. I think with the flavors they've made, especially with the taco ramen dish, they have room to raise the bar on the quality of items they use.Birria tacos are tasty and messy which I love, but the flavors are universal across all their dishes. Will visit again next year to see if they improve to justify the price...cuz I see it's potential. They make silent generators ya know.

My first experience with this food truck and it was delicious. Birria tacos were superb. Tender meat and gooey cheese fresh from the grill and dipped in the broth.....yum! The ladies have done an admirable job keeping it running at a high level since the loss of their founder. It is cash only and takes 5-10 minutes to get your order prepared.

Was very hyped to try the food from their food truck after seeing posts on social media, unfortunately I left truly disappointed. The staff mostly ignores you when you walk up, and then it takes over 30 minutes for any food to come out. The real let down for the visit though was the lack of flavor in the different taco types my group order, the chicken was particularly bland. Not worth it for the price.

Quite unlike most restaurants recommended on Tripadvisor, this unpretentious little restaurant offers truly authentic Mexican food of the highest quality. Ignore the appearances, stay for the food.

Where is this taco truck at? I follow the gps but it's a different taco truck. Can anyone let me know what's going on

I live to eat here whenever I'm in Montgomery. The food is authentic and flavorful. The prices are also reasonable. Most of the staff doesn't speak much English, so it helps to know a few key words in Spanish. The attached store also has a good selection of foods including baked goods.

First very good birria tacos! The ladies working this food truck in front of Black Abby know what they are doing. Great service, smiling faces, confident in their food. The tacos were delicious but I could have used a little salt or more acid to really enhance the meat and cheese. When I squeezed the lime on it the flavors popped! But unfortunately I used up my wedge before finishing. My bad. The consume was a delicious and decadent addition but I loved it, I could drink that stuff and be happy. I needed more napkins but enjoyed every bite.

There are several Mexican restaurants and taco trucks in Nashville. It can become very overwhelming with trying to decide on which ones to try. I've been in Nashville for about 10 years and it's only two taco trucks including Taqueria El Gym that really stand out to me. I discovered this truck via instagram and I was instantly memorized by the birria ramen as I had never seen tacos dipped in noodles before. The first time I tried it I was hooked! My boyfriend and I typically get a couple of the birria tacos and ramen. The birria ramen comes in a large cup which is enough for two people to share. The meat is seasoned perfectly. Everything is reasonably priced. I have no complaints so if you're looking for a new taco spot definitely check this place out! Pros: The food Cons: Parking is a little tight as they're next door to a gas station
