well actually I was looking for a restaurant, however I stop at this place. has some tables if you want to enjoy your meal there, the only issue is they don't take cards but there is an ATM inside the convenience store. salsas are not super hot. food and service is great.

If you like proper street tacos, are from any of the southern states along the Mexico/US border, or have any remote love for good food, then you need to stop reading this review and go to the Mobile gas station on Dickerson Pike and Dellway Dr. Right. Now.I truly never write reviews but I just crushed 6 tacos and felt compelled to share.I'm originally from Southern California, I work in the restaurant industry, and I'm pretty over-weight. Subsequently, I feel pretty safe calling myself an authority on tacos.These tacos were without question the best I've had in my three years in Nashville, and easily top 5 of any tacos that I've had anywhere.Lengua, Tripa, and Al Pastor were all truly excellent. Tripa is particularly hard to do well, this tripa was maybe the 2nd best I've had (I only say second because I can't think of the #1 and also want to avoid being too hyperbolic).In hindsight I should have taken pictures but I had certain priorities.The only bad thing about this place is how close it is to my house. I personally hold the staff/owners of Taqueria El Paladar responsible for my swift and measurable increase in BMI.

The tortas are fantastic and the tacos are excellent as well. I got extra carrots with onions and they’re perfect. It’s so hard to find places that make these anymore and they’re my favorite!. Also you can get gas while you wait which is 2 birds - 1 stone! Cash only.

I have dined at many Taco Truck Vendors in and around Nashville. This is the best by far! Best mulitas and tacos I have put in my mouth. The service was fast and friendly as well. I found my new spot! I highly recommend giving them a try. Oh...and they are not stingy with the food either. ?
