Excellent place, I like the food and the excellent service, I recommend the drowned cake, the truth is I had not eaten it, it was my first time, I really liked it, I recommend it and of course the tacos are also a good option, of course everything in general It's very good, nothing more than I recommend what I like and eat more often.

Taqueria Vallarta was a random stop for a quick lunch, I think, in Old Hickory. The food was excellent. I had steak tacos and al pastor. The chips are homemade. The salsa is exceptional. I inquired about the salsa to figure out what region inspired it. The Mexican coke was excellent, and so was the service. I

Authentic and very good. Their carrot and onion salsa is the bomb! I have not found it anywhere else and wish they sold it in large jars. The street tacos are unmatched. Seriously, give them a try. Be advised, unless it has changed recently, they only accept cash as payment. There is also only bottled drinks unless you try their frescas. And kudos to the awesome family who operate the restaurant. They are very nice and you will see they all care very much about their business and each other.

I asked for 2 tacos, got 4 plain, small tacos without cheese or salsa, then charged $10 for it. Unhappy with this hole in the wall place. Wanted a plate of nachos but after seeing the price of $15, decided on a few tacos. Got ripped off and won't be returning or recommending it to any others. Shame on you!

Taqueria Vallarta is a big slice of home. I am from California and this place is the bomb. Vanessa and the Gonzalez family will make you feel at home. Food is amazing. Make sure you go. Cash only don’t bring an ATM card.

Love the asada tacos and the bloody Mary is one of the best. Recommend.

This place gets a definite A. The salsa was the most amazing first ever type of salsa like that I have ever tasted. All the food tasted like grandmother made them straight out of Mexico. These were real recipes. Flavors were out of this world. Be looking for a video review on YouTube Jack on the go show.
