We had an amazing experience at Tex’s World Famous Bar-B-Q. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic, yet very well organized and clean — it really gives you that classic Southern BBQ vibe.
The food? Simply excellent. The brisket was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sides were delicious too, and everything came at a very fair price. You get great quality without overpaying.

I’m giving all 5’s, but just know the food is basic good. Didn’t have anything bad. Didn’t have anything amazing. I did really like the brisket and of all things the toast. Pork was vinegary tasting, but I’ve found that’s a TN regional thing. Their homemade mild sauce wasn’t too bad. Turnip greens had some nice heat. Slaw was very good. Mac n Cheese was ok. Potato salad… acceptable, but not my favorite. Atmosphere was like stepping back 30 years in old Nashville....
