I've been innumerable times and The Authentique is consistently delightful: great wine, food, ambience, live jazz. There's nothing like it in East Nashville. I'm not sure there's anything like it in Nashville.
I absolutely adore this place! The wine is off the charts, the staff is so knowledgeable (their main bartender is going for his level 3 sommelier). The steak tartar is legit the best I've ever had. This is a hidden gem and a fantastic add to the neighborhood.
I’ve here a couple of times over the years and it’s always a joy to be transported to Europe on any evening. When you go you must:
1. Try a wine flight
2. Order the pistachio crepe
They also have live jazz and it’s a wonderful place to read a book and sip on some wine in a cozy nook
