15$ per person for an hour is a great deal. I love how the lights are dimmed so that the cats aren't too overstimulated. This business facilitates the adoption of rescue cats, which is a great cause to support.
Great place. Supportive staff. It is $8 for 30 minutes. Can’t beat that price.
I love it here!
EDIT: Visited again today, 11/30/25. It’s only gotten better! The senior/calm cat area is definitely my jam. I love this place so much. Keep up the great work Catio!
I made my first visit to the cardio cat lounge today, and I had more fun than I’ve had in a room full of cats in a very long time! There were so many different cats, some shy, some friendly, some that wanted to be pat, some that wanted to play…there was definitely a cat there for everyone! The ladies running the place were super friendly, and you can tell how much they loved the cats. There are tons of hide holes and surfaces for the cats to climb on and play with. The people running the lounge have clearly thought of all the cats needs. I would absolutely recommend visiting and adopting a cat at the Catio cat lounge.
BEWARE BEFORE ADOPTING!
My husband and I were visiting from out of town, and decided to stop at The Catio. We had no intentions of adopting, but soon fell in love with a young cat. Although we were told the application process may take a day or two for processing, but we still filled out an application with full intentions of driving back to Nashville for this cat. We were told by the staff that we would receive an email and/or text/phone call within 48 business hours from Amy (the adoption coordinator). The next week comes, and I do not hear from anyone. I call The Catio to follow up on my application, only to be told it was denied. When I asked for reasoning, they were unable to provide that, stating “they don’t have access to that information”. I then re-submitted the application, waited until the following week, and received no phone call. When I called agian to check on the status of my application, it was still being denied without explanation. The employee stated she would reach back out to Amy, and request to have her contact us. Again, we received no response. By now, we are going on week 3 of back and forth. When we called by the 3rd or 4th time, we were then told that our application was still denied, and the cat we have been try to adopt had already been adopted by another couple the previous week, which was heartbreaking.
Overall, the lack of communication is going to be the reason that none of these precious cats get adopted. The fact that I had to initiate EVERY conversation due to the lack of communication is worrisome. When I called each week about the cat, I was never told that another applicant had applied for the same cat. Overall, we wish you the best, but we will not be visiting or supporting The Catio.

Stopped in about 15 mins before closing and Kat and Bash were so kind and friendly. I’m visiting from out of town, so I could not adopt but it was very nice getting to pet some kitties and make a small donation to them. If in Nashville, definitely make time to stop by.
Went in just to pet some cats, adopted this guy.
Such an amazing place to come and get all the kitty love you need! It was way bigger than I expected it to be! There are several different rooms/area that you can enter and meet special needs kitties, seniors, and everything in between! Highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be back!
What is the point of being a cat adoption center and having a requirement that if you adopt one cat, you are required to adopt the other cat that it is “bonded” with? Total BS. We wanted only the 1 cat but are required to adopt another disabled cat that “comes with it.” Will gladly go elsewhere.

Absolutely the best! All the cats were so cute and super friendly. One black kitten even fell asleep in my lap. Can't wait to go again. 10/10
Fantastic place! Great employees, and adorable cats. Really like how they have separate rooms for cats that have different needs. Great place, highly recommend!
Wow this is a great place for any cat lover! There are multiple different rooms that have different cats, like the Calm Room that had the older and me relaxed cats. Then there's the main room that has so many cars I couldn't count then all! There's kittens and young adult cats there, almost all of them super friendly and wanting pets and play!
Many of the cats would come right up to us as soon as we walked in, looking for attention.
The space is clean and has plenty of car trees and places to sleep, once playtime is over.
One of the best cat cafes we've ever been to (and we've been to a lot)!
Me and the wife happened upon this place when we where on our honeymoon as we where staying in the Hampton nearby. We loved it.
My elderly cat passed away a few months ago and I'm not currently in the position to adopt anymore pets as I will eventually be moving away from my homeland Scotland to be with aforementioned wife who's from New Orleans!
So we loved finding this place and playing with the cats. I missed the feline attention lol. I'm sure if we lived in the area we'd adopt from this great charity. They have another room for more anxious cats too which is a great addition.
This lounge made my first experience with a cat café super memorable! The employees were friendly and gave helpful info, the cats were super sweet, the little gift shop in the front had GREAT prices, and even the other customers were friendly and social with me and my partner. All around such a great place with an awesome vibe.
