When we were seated, the air conditioner was blasting so cold, we asked to be moved. We were freezing and our food would get cold really fast. The server said she would ask the manager to raise the temperature. It never happened. We asked to be moved and were told the other tables were reserved. (We had a reservation as well.) We had to go stand by the window in the sun to get warm. They finally moved us to another table (the supposedly reserved one). No one ever showed up at any of the other tables. Looked to us like we were lied to. This all took place at 5:30 in the afternoon. There are a lot of dining options in downtown Nashville. I will definitely choose elsewhere on my next trip. The food was okay, but nothing outstanding.

Great service from the time we sat to the time we left. Food was delicious. We are from out of town and this experience was so special for us. We were on 4th floor and the view was beautiful. Thank you for starting our night out wonderful

Good quick stop, had to wait a moment for 2nd rd coffee service but overall everyone liked their meal and staff was doing what they could with the crowd at hand.

I recently visited The Diner Nashville, a unique six-story establishment located on the corner of 3rd Avenue (around the corner from Broadway). The interior was impressively clean, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. I ordered the barbecued chicken club with fries. While the barbecued chicken club was a bit messy and didn't quite hit the mark as the best sandwich I've ever had, the fries were exceptional and definitely stood out as the highlight of the meal. The service was fast and friendly, adding to the positive experience. Prices were reasonable, and the bathrooms were well-maintained and clean. Overall, The Diner Nashville offers a decent dining experience with great service and good value for money. I would definitely consider visiting again, especially for those fantastic fries!

We went for breakfast at The Dinner as a second choice, since we originally wanted to have crepes, but the place we had in mind was too crowded. What attracted us to The Dinner was their cappuccinos, which we absolutely loved. The place itself is very nice and cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, we were surprised when, even though cappuccinos were offered on the first floor, we were seated on the fifth floor because we were a group of 9 people. When we ordered the cappuccinos, we were told that they only served them on the first floor, so we had to go down, buy the drinks, and bring them back up to our table.

The service was friendly, and the waiter gave us some recommendations, which was a nice touch. However, the food didn’t meet our expectations. The mimosas we ordered had no foam, which made us think that the champagne they used had been open for too long.

The kids ordered waffles, and although they were fine, they were nothing special. Of everything we ordered, the gravy with biscuits was by far the best dish: flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were dry, and the bacon wasn't crispy enough. Many of the dishes lacked freshness and moisture, which made the overall meal a bit bland.

Overall, The Dinner has potential, but it could improve in terms of food quality and customer service, especially when it comes to beverage availability and dish details. It’s not a place I would return to, even though the ambiance was lovely.

Delicious! Go to the 6ths floor for a great bar and food experience. They have everything on the menu, the Nashville Hot Chicken Waffle is awesome.

The waffle was nothing special, plain, barely any strawberries, plenty of syrup, but nothing else. It was blah.
My husband got the steak and eggs with coffee. The steak had a sour tasting marinade, but was cooked perfectly. The eggs were flavorless and blah. (They only make scrambled eggs, btw). The seasoned potatoes were not seasoned and were very bland as well. The coffee was watery and not very good. We stopped elsewhere for coffee after we left.
The only thing I liked was the biscuits and gravy side from my husband's steak and eggs. That is all we ate. It was $70 for bland awful food and all we ate was the biscuits and gravy. We won't be back.
Hope others have a better experience.
