Food was delicious! They had just opened the 5th floor and we were seated there, the only ones on the floor until we were almost finished.

We like The Diner very much. Twice though, I've gone for 6th floor sushi and missed out. The 1st time we were too early. This time I made a reservation, but you can't reserve a table on a floor...only a table in the building. And because there is very little table seating on the 6th floor, it was full so we ate on 4 again. All the food is good. We had a good waitress last time but had a very unenthusiastic waitress this time.

We had a great time for Sunday brunch! Service was slow at the beginning but not at fault of the server, there were only two servers running an entire floor. Our server gave lots of recommendations, were very personable and they had great hospitality. Our table had the waffle sliders, caesar salad, breakfast plates, egg rolls and strawberry mimosas. We also grabbed coffee at the bar, we got the Bees Knees & Godfather. The staff also let us stay later than expected, which was very kind. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Not one to write lousy reviews, but our experience from our most recent visit was very poor across the board. The food was average at best. The service was not great. You could tell the servers couldn't care less. We'd been here several times before, and it was fine, but this past visit was terrible. We won't be back—too many other good places to eat in Nashville.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband got the salmon and it was the best he ever had eaten. Seared perfectly. I got the shrimp and grits. They were tasty. Had plenty of gravy so the grits weren't dry.

Ate on 4th floor for lunch yesterday. Had classic cheeseburger and fries. It was good but not great. Service and atmosphere were great.

Coffee was absolutely amazing- check the menu above the bar before sitting because they have some fantastic options and boozy shakes! We had breakfast 2 mornings because the service was great and there wasn't any wait. Excellent food, very fresh and not greasy!
Good for a quick brunch on Sunday. We stopped in on the way to the Titans game about 1030ish. Very busy, but with only 2 of us, we got a table on the 5th floor overlooking the city. They were sorta busy, but not crazy..80% fans for the game and mostly visitors. Food was pretty good and I'd go back to try more on their menu. Perfect parking at music city center.

I thought the Diner was a great spot . What i truly appreciated, was the lack of volume in the air. Lets face it , the places to eat that have music, are loud. Im talking real loud, so it was nice to eat in peace. The Diner has a lot of choices, nothing over the top , but we walked away satisfied , though we ordered wings and what was supposed to be blue cheese , definitely was not . No wait , no lines, and the had 5 floors to choose from. Nice view , open area , nice breeze.

My hot chicken was quite dry and kind of stale. The biscuits were good, but they were dry and crumbly. The slice of bread that comes with chicken and biscuit meal (what I got) was pretty hard and the crust was also hard. The atmosphere and the service was great though.
