The Countrypolitan is an amazing hidden gem. The food is delicious, the drinks are great and the service is outstanding. Everyone there is helpful, welcoming and goes above and beyond to create a great experience.
Had a hard time finding the restaurant. It is inside a hotel. Didn't stay for dinner. The restaurant was empty.
We had high hopes for The Countrypolitan. It is such a lovely looking restaurant & bar, right off the hotel lobby. The online photos (Instagram, Google) of the food looked absolutely scrumptious so we were excited to try it! I cannot give a full review because we didn't stay to try the food. We walked in to an absolutely beautiful restaurant/bar, with lots of seating areas, cozy looking chairs, very welcoming decor, gorgeous chandelier and high ceilings, big bar. We stood at the hostess stand for about 15 minutes and nobody ever acknowledged us. We saw at least 3 servers walking around during this time. Finally someone from across the room waved at us and pointed, mouthed "sit wherever you'd like" so we chose a table. After waiting for about 5 minutes she came over, gave us menus, and said she'd be back with water. Didn't ask what we'd like to drink. She brought the water and just plopped it on the table, without a word, didn't ask if we'd like to start with a drink or appetizer. We watched her walk by several times, she didn't stop, we tried to get her attention once and she didn't even glance at us. We finally decided that we should have taken the bad reviews into consideration before attempting to dine here. We had high hopes - the pictures on Google looked amazing, and there were some good review too - but it was not worth our time and money to have such terrible service, so we walked down the street to another restaurant.
What a cool, cool atmosphere. We had a private booth. Great live music, great food, good drinks, reasonable prices.

No one greeted us as we entered the restaurant. It is inside the hotel. It's sort of dated and lackluster. There was no live music when we were there, just 2 people setting up. The person did not take our names just sit wherever you want and we will be over when we can. Off the beaten path next to an abandoned building
The service was fantastic, probably the best Lemon Drop I’ve ever had. Zack the bartender was amazing, even thought Steve the bartender broke his lighter 😂

Though we didn't have super high expectations, we were hoping for a more pleasant experience.
The Good: The live music was enjoyable. The atmosphere was good. The prices were on the low side.
The meh: Though there seemed to be adequate serving staff for the size of the crowd, the servers seemed stressed and disinterested. We waited approximately 10 minutes before being acknowledged despite trying to make eye contact with each server who came within 20 feet of our table. Once we were finally acknowledged, our server was reasonably attentive. He did seem stressed and unenthusiastic.
The BAD: The food was barely edible. My wife's food (Rainbow Trout with potatoes & green beans) was served lukewarm to cold - potatoes were actually cold. Fish was not great. My steak was awful. Like the fish, it was also served at a room temperature There were actually bites that couldn't be chewed enough to swallow. I ate probably half of my smallish steak and gave up.
It's very rare for me to leave a negative review, but this experience was one of my worst.

My credit card disappeared at The Countrypolitan at The Indigo Hotel — and they acted like it was my fault.
The food was great, the drinks were great — but the moment I handed my card to pay, everything went downhill. Our server lost my credit card, and instead of apologizing or helping, a man named Cesar (who isn’t even a manager) treated me like I was the problem. He repeatedly said, “We haven’t had any cards turned in,” as if that somehow made it my responsibility. We sat there for almost an hour while he vanished and reappeared with no updates, no apology, and no accountability.
To make matters worse, I can see the charge for the meal went through — so at least they got something out of my missing card. I’m lucky that I bank with USAA, who have outstanding customer service. They immediately blocked the account and even transferred some of the available credit to another card I have with them so I can continue my vacation. But what if this had happened to someone else — someone whose only card was now gone, whose bills or travel plans depended on it? The way this was handled was not just unprofessional, it was negligent and completely unacceptable.
I don’t usually post reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. The Countrypolitan at The Indigo Hotel needs to take a hard look at how they handle serious issues and how they treat paying guests when something goes wrong. I welcome a public response from management — because this should never happen to anyone else.

I normally don't write reviews, only for a really good or bad experience. Sadly this was one of the latter. I'm staying at The Countrypolitanhotel and when I heard about the music thought I'd join with a good drink.
Me and two others got seated quickly and orderd immediately while I said I needed a moment. after a bit another server went over and we said someone took the order but I haven't had the chance to order. It took about 20 minutes for two drinks and three water to arrive and I finally got my order in.
When my order arrived and we immediately paid for the first round the server disappeared. The check was left on the table and while my company had left I still wanted another round. After having waited for an hour and a bit and nobody seemed to check up on me. I decided to leave.
I have to say the music was lovely and entertaining, but I'd have loved for the servers to notice when another server lacks to jump in.

Delightful Nashville experience! The blue grass band was wonderful and super talented. Ambiance fabulous! Food was delicious. Thank you!
Service is terrible. Waited for over 15 minutes to be served, no water, no acknowledgement, no menu. I ended up leaving.
