Seriously one of the most underrated places in the brentioch area. Not many great ice cream places around anymore but this place is great.

We really enjoyed the ice-cream bar. First thing I noticed was the unique and fun atmosphere. Second, was how many people were there enjoying a variety of treats. The menu was endless. We ordered the pistachio milk based ice -cream and it was one of the best I’ve tasted. The service was also great. The girl who waited on us was very sweet, helpful and patient with our many questions. I’d like to go back and try the frozen yogurt and ice cream balls. This is definitely a great spot to bring the kids or even just to have a nice little date.

This place is so cool! They have so many different options and flavors. The decor is great, the ice cream is amazing, and the staff are so nice! We're on a trip to the zoo today and just googled ice cream spots and ended up here. I'm glad we came!!

After spending two hours at Sichuan Hot Pot & Asian Cuisine, I waddled out of the eatery to my car. It was hot outside. I felt like something cold and refreshing. You know what? Dessert sounded good. I looked around and saw The Ice Cream Bar further down the plaza. I had a minor debate. Should I drive down there or waddle some more? I was closer to my car, so I got in it and drove closer to dessert. It was a wise move. I opened the door and I felt like I had crashed a beach party. It was fun seeing inflatable flamingo floaties and beach balls dangling from the ceiling. It was quirky. I felt at home. A woman behind the counter welcomed me. She pointed out the milk- and water-based ice creams that she had. There were also popsicles and fancy desserts outlined on the menu. She said to take my time going through the menu before placing my order at the other end of the counter. I wanted to give the water-based iced cream a try. The flavours looked and sounded perfect. I asked the woman how many scoops I could get for a large cup. She said it's typically three, but she could give me a scoop each of the water-based ice cream. It was so sweet of her to do. I said yes to everything. My large cup with lime, blackberry, mango, and strawberry water-based ice cream flavours looked so pretty. I couldn't wait to have some. I paid with a credit card and tapped the touchpad. All went well. I had a five-dollar bill. I asked her to break it for me, so I could tip her. I'm glad that I did. I thanked her, took a few photos of my ice cream inside the place, and headed to my car to eat there. The reason why I mentioned that driving over here was a good move was that it was exceptionally hot outside. If I had walked over to my car, I'm sure that I'd have ice cream soup happening in my cup. I absolutely loved my water-based ice cream flavours. They aren't as creamy as you'd expect from milk-based ice cream, but they were so refreshing and totally hit the spot. The lime was tart and had a lime slice in it. The lime was perfect for my tart needs. The blackberry was rich in flavour and delightful. The mango was cheerful and made me feel like I was in the tropics. The strawberry one made me smile. It was so good. All four flavours were excellent. This place is quite the gem for your frozen treat fix. I'm so glad that I dropped by and found it. I'd love to go back and try some more ice cream flavours. I also want a popsicle or twelve. (338)

This was a bizarre experience. Patrons were in line from two different directions. The menu is huge but there aren't a lot of ice cream flavors. The soft serve machine wasn't working. There were 3 or 4 employees behind the counter, yet only 1 woman in the back appeared to be producing anything. Two were actively on their phone sitting on a stool, waiting for the 1 busy woman to finish. We waited a solid 20 minutes. I made myself known and one worker looked alarmed that I hadn't been served yet. It was too loud in there as well. They're going for a theme park exciting vibe but you're in a strip mall in South Nashville. Bizarre.

My daughter has been wanting to come here. So glad we came. My daughter loved it. The service was great. Very friendly and they helped us pick out of the menu. There is background music, but it isn't to loud. You can easily order and have a conversation. There are no waiters- you order up front. So I was surprised they brought our items to the table. That was so nice. I left a tip, in the tip jar because of that. They also pick up your dishes when your done. Overall it was a fun packed place. Delicious. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends.

Ice cream tasted good and was visually impressive! You got a large quantity. Some of the ice cream flavors were out and the building felt like it could have been tidier.
We came on a Wednesday evening but they were closed despite online showing their hours. Not sure the mix up or why they're closed when they're supposed to be open. Drove all the way here for no reason

Went there last night for dessert. I ordered a rice churro with vanilla and white chocolate ice cream with chocolate and caramel syrup on top. The woman informed me that the syrup comes on top. (I had no syrup on top)When she brought me my food, it was not what I had ordered. It took additional 15 minutes for my boyfriend to get his small cup of ice cream. When the woman realized she brought me the wrong order, she brought me the 2 kinds of ice cream in a bowl and said I could just mix it. She did not even try to make my $10 dessert correctly. The atmosphere was really nice, PLEASE TURN DOWN THE MUSIC!!! Listen to your customers requests and make sure you show you care if you make a mistake. I do not think I will be back.

Not impressed. We took two of our kids out for a fun evening and capped it off at The Ice Cream Bar. The place wasn't clean. The tables were sticky and there was trash on the floor. The bathroom didn't have paper towels to dry your hands. Both of these items I typically look past if the food is good; however, the ice cream was sub-par. Mint ice cream is hard to screw up, but they managed it. It was neon green and the imitation spearmint really stood out...☹ .Additionally, my wife and I both ordered a simple sugar cone ice cream. To my knowledge, there's one sure way to screw up a sugar cone...allow the cone to be stale. It was terrible. We won't be going back.
