We love loading dock!! The owner is always present and friendly, a very hands on cafe with the friendliest staff. June and I love our morning walks to see Julie!

I love that it’s quirky. Coffee shops are all so stark now and this place is comfortable and has personality. The coffee is great, the food is good and the staff are kind.

Super cute, cool vibe with nice decor, but $17 for eggs and a latte, and $33 for a sandwich, eggs, and a latte is ATROCIOUS. Way overpriced.

For my fellow matcha enthusiasts: I was really enjoying getting my drinks here when it opened. Just returned for the first time in a couple months. I ordered a matcha and was very surprised at the price nearly doubling since my last visit ($9 for a 16oz, also only filled 3/4 full). Then, I took a sip, and realized that they downgraded the matcha quality to what tastes like Jade Lead or some Sysco low quality stuff. It used to taste high quality tea, like ceremonial grade, and now it tastes like pre-sweetened grainy Starbucks matcha and is army green. I know times are tough in this economy, but I couldn’t help but be disappointed at the compromise.

The staff is the same (still awesome) and the energy in the room remains warm and welcoming. I’m sure the coffee is still great. I hope they change the matcha back and I’ll be going somewhere else for it until then.

The breakfast burritos and regular mocha that we ordered was delicious. The salsa for the breakfast burrito that was served on the side had a delicious Smoky flavor to it.

My first time since they opened the new location. It has almost the same vibe as the old place with a bit of a twist. Very cozy place. I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved visiting the Loading Dock in North Nashville! I came here with friends for some coffee and breakfast- all of which was delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich that was really hearty and an iced coffee that was just what I needed. The vibe of this place is absolutely incredible and I wish I had found it before I moved out of the area! It would have been a great place to hang out and get some work done.

Look, this place has a wonderful vibe. It’s probably one of the cutest coffee shops in the entire city. Love that they’re in the neighborhood too as North Nashville needs more local shops.

That being said, the breakfast food is bland. It was fine, but for as good as the rest of the coffee shop is, the food just doesn’t live up to that same degree of excellence. We got the breakfast tacos and the bagel sandwich, and both were about the same, lacking flavor. The bagel sandwich was also pretty greasy, probably from having non-crispy bacon and cheddar cheese on it.

Parking is also tough on the front side of the building with traffic being so heavy on Buchanan.

Would definitely go back again for coffee, but would go somewhere else for breakfast afterwards.

Hard to leave this place in anything other than a great mood. Serving Sky Bear coffee, an exceptional local roaster. Eclectic and colorful aesthetic featuring unique artwork. And certainly not to be ignored, the music! Motown, Paul Simon…an invigorating departure from the all too common sleepy playlists of many coffee shops. Could be the coffee or the music, but you’re sure to be dancing into your day.

Really nice little coffee shop near the State offices in Nashville. My only complaint was it was a little warm and a lot bright. They could use some sun shades.

I've just discovered the Loading Dock Cafe, and I've already been here twice this week. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy, and artistic. Abundant with glass and natural light, plants, and a full wall of folk art.

I have been here several times since it reopened. Not only is the staff so kind and friendly, the food and coffee are always made exactly as requested. I highly recommend the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and the baked potato salad! Both items have great flavor and are perfect portions.
