They can take all my money. Every time at The Local is a good time! The owner Geoff is one of the nicest people you will meet in Nashville, every staff member behind the bar is excellent and even the door guy and the sound engineer greet guests with a friendly hello! The venue features a variety of different music throughout the week and the kitchen here truly shines! The avocado swiss burger with the GF bun is stellar and when you ask for it to be cooked to a certain temp, that is EXACTLY what you’re going to get. The nachos are super loaded and the salmon is perfect every time. Pick yourself a hat from their awesome merch options, dance in front of the stage or just kick back and enjoy the fire pit outside on the patio. Every corner of this place is awesome and you’ll surely make some new friends with each visit. So excited to hear they are opening a second location in Hendersonville and I can’t wait to visit!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns, entrees and plenty of sides to choose from!Parking: There is a large paid lot directly across the street, or free street parking. Be mindful of not blocking the mechanics shop next door during their business hours.

Noah Smith and his band had a great show, Great crowd, great time! Noah is from Brown County Ohio. Has a great following including his parents, family and friends. My 1st time to meet and see him. My friend and I are from southern Ohio also. She is a big fan/follower of Noah, and I have become one.

THIS IS THE PLACE! THIS IS NASHVILLE! For all tourists, Wednesday night (Freakshow) is where you'll experience Nashville. The food and beverage selection is good and varied. We had the salmon, chips and queso, several local drafts and a Chris Stapleton old fashions. The music was fantastic! You'll see local and visiting artists playing original songs. It couldn't be more raw. I can't say enough. If you're coming to Nashville your visit won't be complete if you miss this hidden gem! From San Antonio Texas with love!

Geoff, the owner of The Local, isn't just a figure in our lives; he's become a cherished part of our family for over 15 years. Throughout this time, his unwavering dedication to music has been a beacon of inspiration. His love for music extends far beyond his ownership of The Local, reaching back over the past 25 years he's spent in Nashville. Geoff is not just a venue owner; he's an exceptionally talented songwriter and musician with a heart of pure gold.In the few short years that The Local has thrived under his leadership, Nashville has gained more than just a remarkable venue. Geoff has fostered a space where the entire music community can gather, share, and connect on a level that corporate entities struggle to emulate. Witnessing his relentless commitment to his vision, I've seen his wife and four children endure sacrifices, standing by him as he works tirelessly around the clock for the community, never once taking a paycheck for himself.Geoff's generosity knows no bounds. I've seen him cover countless customer checks simply because he enjoyed the connection and conversation. His impact goes beyond the walls of The Local; he's helped musicians secure record deals and fostered a sense of unity within the musical community that surpasses anything we've seen before. It deeply saddens me to see low ratings based on opinions rather than facts. The challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic have affected everyone, and it's a reality we all grapple with. My daily prayer is for the world to find a way back to a semblance of our former lives. While I am an ardent fan of The Local, my loyalty extends beyond the venue – it is a tribute to Geoff and his family. I firmly believe that some of life's greatest achievements stem not only from struggle but also from daring to go against the grain. In these trying times, my earnest prayer is for peace and a collective focus on love and mutual support. With enough love, I believe we can overcome any challenge and emerge stronger together.

Good experience in there on a Saturday night listening to some country music a few weeks ago. They had a big crowd and the drinks were reasonable compared to downtown. And the bartenders were able to keep up well despite the good crowd. 5 stars.

I loved this place. Went here on a recommendation for a place to listen to live music away from the main strip. This ended up being my favorite place in Nashville. On Friday night they had an artist showcase where new artist would play about 3 songs then they would switch it up. This was cool nc you got to hear alot of different styles and songs from up and coming artist.Didn't expect much from the food but I was very suprised. Really the best bar food I've ever had. Highly recommend the wings and the burgers. Everything else I seen people ordering looked great also. Went back Saturday for lunch and they have great beer prices during the day. This is now my favorite place in Nashville.
