Server was so thoughtful, food was scrumptious and me and my friend enjoyed our time together!
Interesting place with good mix of food and fun ambiance. Perfectly located next to our next destination, PuttShack
This was our first dining experience at the Mockingbird and everything was great. Great food, outstanding service (waiter as super friendly and attentive), reasonably priced (I recommend the spicy pineapple margarita), and we enjoyed everything about the restaurant. We would definitely return here when back in Nashville.
Food was terrific, and service by Brodie was excellent! It was an all around great experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all.
Looking at our three dinners in Nashville, this was our least favorite. The food was ok, but not great. The chicken fried chicken was dry and not as flavorful as the similar dish at other locations. The short rib was also on the dry side with rice as a really strange side dish to accompany it. Finally, the bulgogi should be described as “inspired” as it did not match the flavor of traditional bulgogi. But...the atmosphere was very cute and the service attentive and friendly so that was extra star worthy to get the restaurant to 4 stars. On food alone, it would have been 3.
My husband and I went in for a 6:30 reservation, we were immediately greeted by our server. We got drinks & an appetizer which were good! We ordered our entrees while we were finishing our appetizer and they both came out within 10 minutes of us ordering, a little too quick. When we got the food, you could tell it had been pre-made and sitting. The food didn't taste fresh at all, I ordered the veggie bolognese and my husband ordered the short rib. The pasta was extremely overcooked and the sauce was very plain. We were in and out within 40 minutes... sadly, we will not be returning due to this experience.
Great brunch at the Mockingbird. The chicken biscuit with chorizo gravy was outstanding and the French toast was a delicious and sweet compliment.
Our server was great and the food was good. Cool decorations in the place. The staff 10/10.
We were celebrating a birthday, and it was a great meal. The service was excellent (Thanks Trey), and Mikey stopped by our table to see how everything was going and took time to chat briefly. It was our first time at The Mockingbird, but it will not be our last.
The food has really gone downhill, we had an appetizer that was fried shrimp and oysters . It had no flavor at all and so over fried the shrimp were like rubber. The service was sub par, our sever was great but I saw several other servers cutting off guest in the dining room. Just not what I expected from previous visits.

I can't recommend this enough! The food was DELICIOUS. All 8 of us absolutely loved our meals. Wonderful service!
This was our 2nd time dining here but our first for brunch. Enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and the chicken and waffles. Plentiful portions. Our server was attentive and helpful. Really enjoy it when we're in Nashville.
Adjusting my overall review. The owner reached out and mentioned their AC had gone out this morning. They were also kind and willing to listen to our feedback on the food. I look forward to trying this spot again someday! Original review below, for context - No AC. Food wasn't good. Service wasn't great. Would not go back
Brunch was amazing! So glad we made a reservation as every table was busy. Definitely order the cinnamon roll and bagel bombs. Loved the food and the people!
