This was our first dining experience at the Mockingbird and everything was great. Great food, outstanding service (waiter as super friendly and attentive), reasonably priced (I recommend the spicy pineapple margarita), and we enjoyed everything about the restaurant. We would definitely return here when back in Nashville.
Looking at our three dinners in Nashville, this was our least favorite. The food was ok, but not great. The chicken fried chicken was dry and not as flavorful as the similar dish at other locations. The short rib was also on the dry side with rice as a really strange side dish to accompany it. Finally, the bulgogi should be described as “inspired” as it did not match the flavor of traditional bulgogi. But...the atmosphere was very cute and the service attentive and friendly...
We were celebrating a birthday, and it was a great meal. The service was excellent (Thanks Trey), and Mikey stopped by our table to see how everything was going and took time to chat briefly. It was our first time at The Mockingbird, but it will not be our last.
