Steve was excellent and made us feel like we were family. Our full experience was amazing and the ambiance was incredible.
Food was phenomenal. Steven was provided wonderful service and had great recommendations. Creme brulee was incredible.
Steve was our waiter. He was great and welcoming. He made sure that we had everything we needed and was outgoing while doing it. If we were to go again, we'd ask for Steve.
The Rutledge team did an amazing job hosting us for dinner. Our waiter Steve was amazing and helped us out answering all of our questions on the drinks and food menu and providing insights on the near by attractions. The shrimp wontons were the perfect starter for us and tasted really good with the hot honey sauce, the lobster rolls we had were absolutely delicious and the best we ever had!!!
My boyfriend and I ended our Nashville trip with dinner at The Rutledge, and it couldn't have been a better choice. The food was outstanding, but what truly made the experience memorable was our incredible waiter, Steve. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a firm handshake, introduced himself, and asked for our names, which immediately made the interaction feel personal and genuine. Throughout the meal, Steve was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu—offering great recommendations and checking in on us at just the right times. His professionalism and warm personality elevated the entire experience. We both left not only full and happy but also genuinely impressed by the exceptional service. Steve made our last night in Nashville one to remember.
I went for my birthday and I ended up getting a free desert that said “happy anniversary” lol I told him he put the wrong topper and he didn't even go get the birthday one so I was pretty upset about that and the broccolini was undercooked but overall it was okay.
Steve our waiter was the man he needs a great bonus this year very friendly and knew everything we asked
We were only table for 10am brunch and it took awhile before waitress came to get drinks. Once food arrived, she never checked on us and so needed salt and pepper. Brought check but never cleared plates. Food was ok, but nothing spectacular.
Phenomenal job taking care of our group large party. Everybody was very pleased with the food.
One of my top two favorite places to eat in Nashville. I always make it a priority to eat here whenever in town. Everything is amazing on their menu!

Outstanding food and service just off Broadway in downtown Nashville. No live country music, but amazing cocktails and food options. A bit pricey, but in my opinion worth it!
Food was pretty good. Service was not amazing. She didn't check in a lot and it took a while to get our stuff.
First time at The Rutledge, Downtown location, and we will be back. Drew was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The apps, The Rutledge California roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were both tasty. We ordered 3 8 oz filets, Scallops and Braised short beef. The sides were excellent, green beans, asparagus, loaded baked potato, and lobster mac & cheese. Overall a great dining experience celebrating our Granddaughters Birthday. We had dessert back at our house so we did not partake in dessert.
Had a great experience celebrating my son's birthday. The service was on point, they had a musician arrive at about 7pm in the bar area, which was incredible. He actually sang "Happy Birthday". We ordered steaks and they were on point, the drinks were amazing and they had this b-day shot that was delectable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We were in town for a concert so I wanted to find a place near Nissan and it was perfect. Steve, our server, was very friendly- even offered to take pictures of us. He made a point to remember our names. The drinks were tasty and nice pours! An espresso martini is my go to before a concert and it was a delicious way to end our dinner. My only complaint was that the steak was a tad under medium, according to my husband.
