We were in town for a concert so I wanted to find a place near Nissan and it was perfect. Steve, our server, was very friendly- even offered to take pictures of us. He made a point to remember our names. The drinks were tasty and nice pours! An espresso martini is my go to before a concert and it was a delicious way to end our dinner. My only complaint was that the steak was a tad under medium, according to my husband.

Made reservations at a restaurant we could walk to. What a find. The restaurant was amazing. Great view. Our server, Nate, was very friendly and helpful. The meals were very well portioned and very good. Would definitely dine here again.

Our experience at The Rutledge thanks to our waiter Steve. He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for food and drinks that we really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience last night! I went around 8pm. I believe my server’s name was Austin. He was so helpful, kind, and professional. At the end of the night he said it was his third night serving there and I could not believe it because he knew the menu so well!

This is an edit of a review. I did two years ago where I only gave the place three stars. We went before a concert last night and I gotta say it deserves five stars. The food was excellent and drinks were great. . Steve was our server and he introduced himself and then remembered all of our names. Every entrée we had Was on point. I had the short rib. Two people had sushi. And one person had the Mexican corn pasta. We will be going back. They got our food out extremely quick after we told him we had a concert to make. Highlu recommend.

First time visiting this restaurant, and it was really good! The atmosphere was nice, and I liked the modern look and feel. Our server was great, and she was friendly and laidback. The food was delicious too! Definitely recommend the pressed tuna.

The service was really good. We enjoyed our time in here and they one of the best servers that I have ever met. All the staff was kind but Nathan was outstanding: kind, funny, engaging, and trustworthy.

My wife and I went to Nashville with a friend couple. We spent three days over a weekend in town.
We wanted to experience the music scene in town, as well as food and some cocktail bars.
We expected to be impressed by the Honky Tonks in town. And we were hoping that the Speakeasy bars and regular cocktail bars in town were same calibre as other towns/cities.
We dined here at the Rutledge a Saturday evening. We had a reservation. They have a nice selection of food and beverages.
There is no dress code. The restaurant is modern with some tables and booths. We got a booth and definitely liked that.
We really liked the food - real tasty.
The service staff were polite and somewhat professional - but it was a bit obvious that some of the staff were quite new. But that was ok. All staff needs training.
Overall a very nice experience.

We came here for our 13th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The service was absolutely top notch. Steve gave us a phenomenal experience, he was everything you’d hope to have in a waiter and more. We had a beautiful view from our table. My only complaint is that the food was a little on the bland side but still good. My steak was cooked perfectly, just not enough seasoning for my personal taste. Overall it was a bit over priced but still a great night

Parking: There was a paid parking lot right next door. It was $14.50 for only an hour so pretty expensive.

This place was not what I expected. Went on a valentines date with my lady there a few days ago and the atmosphere was loud, crowded, and not intimate at all. Walked in and immediately got night club vibes from the loud pop music, for what was supposed to be semi fine dining restaurant. On top of that we made reservation several days in advance they forgot about us after checking in. We had to go up to the host and remind them we were still waiting. To top it off their menu was not accurate to what was posted online. I’m guessing they changed it for Valentine’s Day to make more money and only had the higher price more expensive options. I should’ve known better going out on a date in downtown Nashville for Valentine’s Day, but this place had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Definitely won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere for a date night skip this place. Only redeeming quality is the food we eventually ordered, after being disappointed with not having our first few choices available, ended up being very delicious. That’s it

We had such an incredible dining experience at the Rutledge. The food was delectable and the wine was top notch! The oysters were so delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. It was on my list of places to try and I'm so glad we did. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
