Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with my 13 year old. We were able to snag a table and an order of fried pickles which she really enjoyed. It was a bummer that they were out of chicken though. Music was super fun and everyone I talked to (staff, guests and the doorman) were lovely. The Valentine was a fun family friendly (in the afternoon) spot.

When you are in Nashville you should visit the Valentine. We had an amazing lunch while listening to some great live music. They have 2 for 1 drinks coupons for visiting during the day. The chicken sliders were spectacular, and the quesadillas. Servers were so friendly.
Stinks I have to ding this place. Good environment, good band, good food. The tall blonde bartender (only person serving at lunch time) was terrible. Had an attitude. Asked for a burger with mustard and ketchup. Got it with mustard and mayo. Then charged us 50 cents for ketchup. Asked if a certain beer was cheaper. She said all same price. Got the bill and indeed one was cheaper than the other. Just terrible.

Music was excellent both times we visited. The drums are walled off making the experience more pleasant. The drinks were decent. The bathrooms are a bit of a nightmare. One of the best spots we hit.

The bartender here, a great dude I never asked his name though, is excellent. This was our favorite spot on the strip. Not annoyingly packed is why we chose it but it deserved to be. Likely since it was Monday night, but we felt blessed to mostly have it to ourselves.
