I am dumbfounded with my experience at Tin Roof Demonbreun on 12/8. We have visited MANY times as we love the varying ambiance that we can get across the different rooms. Unfortunately, we came across a patron that completely affected our perception of the establishment. My friend returned from the restroom, touched said patron, and said "Excuse me" to be able to return to our table in the green room. This patron started freaking out and instigating an issue claiming that she didn't excuse herself when getting by him. One of the gentlemen in our group started supporting her and attempted to iron out the issue, but the rowdy patron started verbally assaulting our friend and trying to "take him outside", assumably to fight. After the situation fizzled out, security escorted the gentleman in our group outside in the rain and began questioning him. The instigator was able to stay inside and dry despite the fact that he initiated the situation by raging at the woman in our group. Security attempted to reconcile the situation by claiming that they "knew him personally" and that he was a "good guy" which was entirely unhelpful and irrelevant to the situation considering no one in our group was at fault. I am beyond disappointed with the reaction of the staff at Tin Roof given our contributions and lack thereof to the situation. In any bar, I would assume a large man endeavoring to fight a woman over something so minuscule would result in the man getting kicked out, but that was not the case here. I will absolutely not return to this business because of the poor situation deescalation management and will encourage all of my friends to avoid it if they would like a positive and safe experience.

🎶 Maybe we just got extremely lucky, but the bands here were awesome for three days in a row and covered multiple genres. The service was slow from the bartenders, but it wasn’t slow enough to keep us from coming back two more nights.

Horrible service!!! The St. Louis location is the reason I visited. Larry and Shea in St. Louis is awesome Not very busy. I hope it wasn’t because I was African American that I got poor service.

If you are a person of color, exercise caution when entering this venue. Their staff doesn't understand the importance of equal treatment and respect. I frequented this establishment for years without issue, but recently experienced blatant racism, despite spending significant amounts of money there.
An incident occurred where an unstable security guard unjustly removed me from the premises. Although he was reportedly "fired," another security guard who insulted me with derogatory comments was never dismissed. This all happened to appease a patron with a "country music artist" boyfriend.
Moreover, I never received a direct apology from the management. Instead, they chose to relay a message through someone else, which is unacceptable.
For a safer and more respectful experience, consider supporting black-owned venues where such discriminatory issues are less likely to occur and venues that actually have well seasoned food.
Came into Tin roof for lunch and Shu took the best care of us. 10/10 recommend !!!!! Vibes are immaculate

I definitely enjoy DJ’d music as opposed to live music wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more, but the DJ tonight forced me to enjoy live music because of how bad he was
