We have eaten there over past couple years and at first it was delicious, but the food has gone down hill since to the point we will not be returning. The waitresses and waiters are awesome but the cooks need work. Small amount of dry chicken, small pieces of steak in fried rice and absolutely no veggies.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and it was a delight every time! The staff is amazing. Very attentive to a customer’s every need. The menu is spectacular with many great options. I’ve tried a few of their specialty sushi rolls along with the salmon teriyaki and chicken dinner. The food is superb. Their homemade sauces and dressings that come with the salads and main courses are the best! They put soo much care into their food allowing you to have an experience you’ll never forget. If you want to be blown away, try the spring rolls!

Easy 5.0 stars, with no hesitation. Excellent food. Excellent service. Perfect environment for a date, a gathering, or a child's birthday dinner!It was evident great care and expertise went into preparing our meal (teriyaki salmon, sushi, seaweed salad, egg rolls) down to the very last crispy vegetable. Something about the food's texture sets this restaurant apart from the rest. Even the simple appetizer salad + soup which came with the order were high quality and leave you anticipating the main course.Kid-friendliness: The hibachi chefs are talented and great with kids. This restaurant is EXACTLY the place to take your children and watch their amazed expressions at the leaping flames and quick knifework. Make sure to be seated at the hibachi bar seating though.

Fantastic food! We went twice during our trip.The hibachi chefs were highly entertaining. We have young kids, and worked hard to entertain them, but not scare them with too much “fire”Highly recommend their filet mignon and their salmon on their entrees. (Their “yum yum” sauce with the red “hot” paste was delicious.”We also got some sushi rolls, which were also really good.Next visit to Nashville- would stop by again
Got an hibachi chicken dinner to go. Asked for yum yum sauce and got salad dressing. The rice was overdone and clumped together. The chicken was tender but not very flavorful and didn't really seemed grilled. The veggies were good. Soup was entirely too salty. Was hoping for something as good as I used to get at Ozeki's in Nolensville. Just not up to par. Threw most of it away.

The Bento Box steak lunch was so much food and the steak was amazing tender. Lunch prices for the sushi were good too. Everything was wonderful including the wait staff. I have recommended Toyama to my family and friends. I’ve been back now and happy to have Toyama in my city.
