Trattoria Il Mulino

Ate at the bar. Kristen and John were fantastic. Wife had goat cheese raviolis and said the best she ever had. A great higher end choice if you're in Nashville and trying to avoid bar food.

Excellent meal. Hadn't been since Covid and the food was still stunning. Porcini ravioli with added scallops was the perfect bite to make me close my eyes, shake my head and marvel at the complexity and depth of the flavors. The sauce made the dish. Several appetizers and a nice bottle of wine made the meal complete. Excellent service was perhaps too attentive, but we dined early before a show and were one of only a handful of tables at that time. Not cheap, but a definite treat. Will return.

Had a great visit here. Was greeted by Dylan with great energy to start our dining experience and bartender julien was knowledgeable about the menu and offered delicious suggestions. Will be back!

The food and service were exceptional! We enjoyed the meat and cheese plate, the branzino, the clam linguine with grilled octopus, and the lemon sorbet! We also enjoyed cocktails and a bottle of wine which was well paired by Dylan to our meal. Thank you to the fabulous service by Karen & Philipe - such wonderful customer service!

We had a great dinner there last night before our show at the Ryman. We sat on the patio, and Julian was our server. He went above and beyond with the service. There was live music on the patio so it was a great dining atmosphere. Food was excellent. This was our first time there, but it will be on our list the next time we're in Nashville!

Service is spot on, very good. Appetizers were great. Pizza under cooked, pale and limp crust. Lasagna in a cast iron serving dish looks fantastic, flavors are not that great.

This is our favorite restaurant. We are regulars and the food is tasty and consistent. The service is always excellent. We love every experience there. Anisa was our server this time and was excellent as always.

It seems every time I come into town for a show, Trattoria I'll Mulino is where my sister and I want to have our dinner. It never disappoints. The food is always excellent, the service is beyond reproach, and it is a haven of quiet and grace in the midst of a very noisy, crazy town .... it is one of my favorite places to go and I appreciate everything they do. if you've never had dinner there I would definitely consider it. It is top-notch.

Was really disappointed, had 4 in our party. 2 of the meals were great and then two of us ordered the special. The scallops didn't seem fully cooked and tasted awful, the risotto was gritty. We barely touched our dinners, no one even asked what was wrong. It was so gross, and I'm not picky.

Everything was perfect. We had the calamari to start it was light, crunchy and full of flavor, followed by branzino which was perfectly cooked, salmon and porcini ravioli. Every bite was delicious. The service was superb and timely. The lemon tiramisu was a beautiful end to the meal, don't miss it.

Trattoria Il Mulino is a great spot all around. The food is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that really stand out. Whether you're in the mood for pasta, seafood, or something off the specials menu, you can't go wrong. The atmosphere is warm and inviting—comfortable enough for a casual dinner but nice enough for a special occasion. It's lively without being too loud. The staff is fantastic. They're friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It's clear they care about providing a great experience. Overall, this place delivers on all fronts—great food, great service, and a great vibe. Highly recommend.

Service and food were excellent, as always. Lamb chops and scallops were expertly prepared.

First time here. We didn't know what to expect. The food was good very but not great. The service couldn't have been better. Good wine list and a good bar. Cocktails were very good.
