Party of 14- Server worked so hard a bit understaffed, but did a great job. Food and drinks very good.

We had a party of 8 at True Food Kitchen in Nashville and everything was fantastic! The food came out perfectly cooked, super fresh, and absolutely delicious—everyone in our group loved their dishes, and the prices felt totally reasonable for the quality. Our server was a rockstar: (I wish I can remember her name!!), friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating with our big group (which isn't always easy!). Splitting the check and paying was seamless too. Couldn't have asked for a better experience—highly recommend for groups or any occasion!

Usually have great experience here. We wanted to start with the banana foster chia pudding. After 35 minutes the waiter brought it and explained the chef had no idea how to make it. He said the chef had to YouTube how to make it. This back up our whole meal and we missed our planned event. The pudding looked nothing like the picture. The bananas were raw and uncooked. No syrup. Not impressed. Then the waiter charged us for it which one would think after all the trouble and inaccurate description it would have been comped.

We had a great experience with great food that was gluten-free and healthy. A great and knowledgeable server! We even had a yummy gluten and dairy free dessert. Just wish they had some sodas on the menu.

Usually good but frustrating experience - food took over an hour and wasn't handled well by server

This was my first time here with my son and partner. There was no soda options. The fries for the table was truly a single serving size. Was missing 2 of the 3 sauces. When asked for the ketchup, I was handed a bottle. I had nothing to put the ketchup on or in. Fries were salty and burnt. Chicken parm and pasta dishes(x2) - pasta was very bland and had an after taste of a cigarette...weird...and came out lukewarm. Chicken was over peppered. Did not finish it. Pizza was thinner than paper, was not cut in slices and was very difficult to pick up to eat. The spice cake was delicious! When the bill came, I asked the waitress when we ordered for the lasagna dish to go, for a friend. Was not on the bill and that was ok because my friend most likely would have been disappointed too. Atmosphere was nice. Waiters and waitresses appeared overwhelmed and not smiling. Sorry to say, will not go back.

So disappointed. We used to come here quite frequently, but things have been spotty. We actually ended up there both days over the weekend. On Saturday we ordered a grass fed burger. It arrived chewy and over cooked. We also ordered a bowl with chicken added. It, too, was overcooked, hard and chewy. Again Sunday we ordered the burger and specially requested that they not overcook it yet, once again, it came out totally overdone and chewy. This time, we sent it back. Came back okay, but by the time I got it, my friend was done with her meal.

Food and server were very good. Kitchen was SLOW! Server was attentive. We were on the second glass of wine before any food was served. Not up to the usual quality experience

I've had the True Crisp'd chicken twice now, and it is really terrible. It's rubbery at best. Do not recommend.

I love the extensive vegan and gluten free options. And we had great service. The vegan burger was delicious.

It took a long time for the appetizer to be delivered and it wasn't cooked properly. Twenty seconds after it arrived, the main courses were delivered. We sent them back to the kitchen to be kept warm while we ate our first course. When the main courses were delivered, they were soggy and cold. The restaurant was relatively empty for a Saturday night which makes me wonder whether others have not had good experiences.

We sat on the patio with another couple, food was outstanding, service superb, ambiance wonderful, able to have a nice conversation as the noise was low.

Was pretty disappointed with this visit. We ordered fries as an appetizer which took almost 30-35 minutes to come out, and they were missing the seasoning and sauce we ordered. Server apologized and brought it out. Dinner proceeded to take just as long if not longer (we ordered everything at once). My salad came missing avocado, server eventually came over and I was able to request it. These seemingly small details make such an impact on the overall experience. The server was pleasant overall but didn't seem to really care/ was maybe ill prepared for the job (didn't know much about menu when asked, not a real sense of urgency, etc). It appears this location has sadly gone downhill as this is not our first disappointing visit (we were trying to give it another go😭)

Perhaps it was the lack of an experienced waitress, maybe it was the kitchen; who knows? We had a table of 5 outside on a lovely evening. The waitress was very sweet, very young, and had only recently been hired. Our food took a long time to come out and every meal was luke warm as if it had sat at the servers' station too long. We noted it but no one sent their food back. Then a couple of us ordered coffee. It, too, came out not even luke warm; more like room temperature. She did take it back and brought out hot coffee. Nonetheless, despite not charging for one of the meals that was served colder than it should have been, it was not a very bold statement of quality, especially for the few people who had never tried True Food before and likely won't again.

I love the food! Our server was very energetic- maybe a bit on the silly side. We got to enjoy a gorgeous evening outside on the patio so that was perfect. My issue is that in a party of 8 people, our food all came out together but my husband's plate was delayed 15 minutes or more. It became really weird and awkward and he ended up getting his dinner to go because of the delay. Our server was polite but something felt off. Otherwise we really like the food.
