Very nice café with a variety of drinks. It’s a cute little spot with outdoor seating — perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink.

I’ve enjoyed the cold brew and espresso drinks here. I haven’t tried the drip coffee yet. I tend to prefer medium or medium-light roasts for drip and cold brew, they deliver.

My go-to East Nashville coffee shop for ~12 years. Consistently great coffee (the specialty lattes are legit), super kind staff, and fresh pastries every morning. Perfect for grab-and-go or posting up inside or on the patio. Easy 5 stars.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and there was a piece of paper inside of it (like the wax paper that separates pieces of deli cheese). Really gross and disappointing after waiting 25 min for food.

Other than that the coffee and pastries are decent.

Great coffee shop with lots of seating so its a great place to catch up with friends or do some work. I personally have an obsession with the iced blackbear latte (highly recommend!)

Great drinks! Great place to meet or chat. Jake is the best barista! I do miss the actual ugly mugs though.

I’ve come here 3 years. Only in April May or June.

Brenna was helpful and I discovered a crazy new coffee I never knew I liked. The manager is cool too. If it’s still the same one as last year, go there and talk about Star Wars

Sweet outdoor area. Quite in the mornings

Food sometimes a bit overpriced, but still tasty

Ugly Mugs seems to have culturally made a turn. There’s more hardy hospitality vibes, better coffee, and an overall more family friendly environment. Nice people.

Hard to justify this being $11 before tip / tax. I bought two of these and it feels like you just made one sandwich and sold me a half each. $25 for two..

I do enjoy the location and drinks here immensely, however the food is nothing but inconsistent. From timing of orders to content and quality each time you go. I appreciate the staff, but lack of communication and again consistency makes it impossible to know the food you are getting. Since other local coffee shops closed, I am hoping they figure this out as they are one of few options left in East, but would stick to just drinks if going (hopefully they have a solve!)
