The service was pretty good considering how busy the hall is. The food was delicious, my only issue is that for the price I thought I was getting 2 Chicken and Waffle Tacos. That is on me and not the restaurant. The work area could appear more neat and orderly, it seems a bit he hectic. The other issue is the process for pick up. They are not clear when calling names, and did not make a second attempt. They just let the food sit there. Overall not a bad spot.

Perfect location for an afternoon snack when you've been partying on Broadway! I wish the meat had been ground beef instead of strips, I think it's easier to bite into when it's ground beef. The food was piping hot, which I loved. You order at a counter and the cashier was very nice and helpful, since this was my first time eating here. The tables and chairs are fun different colors that match the accents on the wall. Definitely going to try the red velvet cake next time!

This is a late post and my memory is a but foggy now but I remember needing a quick bite that wasn't too heavy or carb loaded and decided on tacos! Had the Taco of the Week which was the steak chimichurri and the Baja shrimp. The chimichurri taco had big chunks of steak. They were a refreshing break from all the fried chicken and heavily buttered or cheesy carbs I'd eaten for my previous few meals. They were decently sized tacos, not the itty bitty street taco size, more like Taco Bell size but filled with fresh ingredients. Two were perfect for me. I wasn't overly stuffed and left happy and satisfied. It was peak lunch time when I went and there were maybe 8 people ahead of me. I was in line for maybe 10 min and took another ~10 min to get my food, so I guess it wasn't that quick, but it was worth it. Seating was rough but luckily had friends that saved me a seat at a squished table.

This was just ok, for me. Definitely not terrible, but it could have been better. I went with 3 tacos....#1 Buffalo Chicken, #10 Kobe Smash Burger and #15 Grilled Salmon. My biggest disappointment came when the chicken and burger were made before the salmon, and sat for a few minutes. I finally got all 3 and proceeded to grab a seat. I went with the salmon first. It was overloaded with pico, which really didn't contain much corn. And the tortilla had a hole in one of the sides, so the shell didn't last long and I had to eat the rest of it with a spork. Yes, a spork, But, the fish I don't think was really salmon. Salmon has a unique flavor. This wasn't it. It wasn't bad, but more like a mahi type fish. Next up was the burger. This was actually pretty good. Plenty of beef and your typical other burger flavors. Last up was the buffalo chicken. Unfortunately, this chicken was cold by the time I got to it. The sauce initially had a weird flavor, maybe because it was cold, but then my taste buds adapted. The bleu cheese was great. I could eat anything with bleu cheese. All 3 served it's purpose and that was to cure my hunger. I would try other places in Assembly before going back here for a repeat visit.

We ordered delivery the first night and the food was so good we went to the Assembly Hall location the next day to eat again. The first time the queso was so good, it was more runny but the taste was amazing. When we went back the next day the queso was not as good and had bbq sauce in it was still good. The chicken and waffle and hamburger tacos were quite good too. i also tried the taco with deep fried cauliflower and it was delicious. Great food and unique flavors.

While the food hall is busy and bustling with great energy, Velvet Taco was shining on our visit! Great service, fairly quick turnaround on the order. Great vibes with the live music. And tacos to die for!! I'll be back!

Damn Gina! This place was on fire. I've had some really fun fusion tacos but this took the cake. I was so impressed with their chicken and waffle taco as well as their shrimp taco. That was one of the freshest things I've eaten in a long time. Staff was great, and the live music in Assembly Hall really made our experience what it was.

Good Food…But I was very disappointed and upset after being accused by one of the staff off stealing my mobile order at the pick up counter. She made a scene by yelling at me, and saying the order was not mine. I told her that my name was on the order and the receipt on the bag, and she continued to argue that it was not my order and I was stealing. I then pulled out my mobile order receipt with my name, my order and the pick up text notification. She didn’t even have the decency to apologize for the gross error and despicable customer service. Also a shame that I tipped the staff over 25% percent on all of my orders, only to be treated like garbage. Make sure you don’t loose your receipt or you just may be accused of stealing the food you paid for.

Stopped by here after 7pm on a Sunday. Was in town for a convention and after seeing the menu, I knew I needed to make a special trip. Surprisingly quick service, and super tasty tacos. I will have to seek this out again the next time I'm in town. This food hall is directly across from Bridgestone, so it's a good option before an event. Highly recommended
