Not sure what the hype is all about, but as someone who grew up eating authentic Mexican food this is far from it. Not only is the food lack any flavor (I am seriously questioning the reviewers who complimented the taste here), but I had an issue with my order and KEVIN was rude and demeaning — not only when taking my order but when returning my money. If you are looking for Mexican food off Gallatin you have plenty of other options — I highly recommend Wacamole.

Upon first glance, this place appeared to be just another taco shop. It was so good and so unique. We ordered a smashburger taco and and fried rice taco and it was killer. Definitely hits the spot if you're in the mood for some quick comfort food.
Velvet Taco should be everywhere. They are open late and I can appreciate that. Late night this is definitely the move for me.
