I Love Vittles! The food is awesome and the prices are reasonable. I wish we had one in Sumner Cty & I wouldn't have to cook every night, and they are open til 8, unlike most most & threes. Their breakfast is wonderful too, well worth the drive when I have the time.

My favorite meal from Vittles is catfish turnip greens, white beans, and cornbread. The pot roast is excellent too. I like the generous servings they put on a plate. I often save half my food for my next meal since I have a smaller appetite than most people. The food is always cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Because of the food and service I used to be a regular at this place and ate there several times a month. The food isn't gourmet, fine dining sort of stuff. Instead, it's just delicious home cooking, very filling and comforting. The staff tends to be young people on their first jobs, at least in the evenings, so they sometimes slip up, but that just adds to the charm for me because they usually try so hard to get it right. It makes me remember my first job in a restaurant and all of the times I did the same things.

Large portions, delicious and home made. We try to support local businesses and I'd say this was better than Cracker Barrel. Our server Tabitha was also very sweet and helpful. We will be back if we're ever back in Nashville.

Good service, was seated and served quickly. Looks like the place has been around for a while. Had the club sandwich on white bread. Sandwich had yellow and white American cheese, and huge slices of the round, spongy turkey and ham you got in the middle school lunch line (or in an airport sandwich). Bacon was nice and crispy and the veggies were fresh. Unfortunately not worth it. Perhaps their main dishes are better but man....that meat.

We have been going here for years and have seen it go through various seasons, just like life. Now is the best it has ever been! The portions are great. LOVE their vegetables! Can't beat their catfish and the spaghetti on Friday is always a treat. You won't go away hungry!
