Waffle House in Nashville

“When your a Yankee and you get past a certain latitude south the bright yellow sign of Waffle House just calls your name. I give the food four stars because it is exactly what in claims to be. Friendly, inviting, a little greasy and o' so tasty. On this particular night my server was supposed to end her shift, but the woman for third shift had not arrived so she just kept going. It's hard to keep going when you think your day is done and all you want to do is go home and relax those aching feet. Well, thank you for staying, and smiling 😃, and being just everything I love about Waffle House. You are appreciated. . And manager get them some help!!!“

“The cook & the server on Jan 20th at around 3:15 pm were the best! I eat at a lot of different Waffle Houses & these 2 were absolutely the kindest, most courteous ones I've experienced yet! Pls share this with that Waffle House on Bell Rd in Nashville 37211. I want these 2 recognized.“

“(Lebanon Pike Waffle House) I want to personally speak about the lady who served me — Jasmine. I showed up during mid-morning and I saw they were handling multiple to-go orders. I sat at the counter and Jasmine immediately got me a drink while I waited for my server. When a server didn’t come after about 5min, Jasmine came back and said she would serve me personally. She kept my drinks full and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. She made me feel so welcome. I just wanted to give her personally a positive review. She is such a welcoming presence and asset to your team. Whatever you need to do, keep her around!!“

“We really enjoyed breakfast here. The biscuits were great, eggs bacon and home fries were really good too. Our server was quick with our order and very pleasant. They even have a jukebox which I ended playing a couple songs on. It was walking distance from our hotel and an overall good experience.“

“The main experience was great, with an attentive server, fast drink service and good food (my husband and I shared an All-Star platter). Because of medical issues, I'm limited in what I can eat so I only had grits and toast, both of which were properly cooked.

There were two food issues, one of which was our fault. My husband likes to eat his waffle with his eggs, and had to wait until the eggs were barely warm, because the waffle didn't appear right away. He didn't tell the server he wanted that, so it was our fault. The second issue was one I've run into before - I asked for Apple or Mixed Fruit jelly. I received the mixed jelly, and apple butter. I explained the difference to the server, not in an accusatory way, because some people don't realize there is a difference. Next time I'll mention that up front as this has now happened at multiple places.

I was saddened to see that the restaurant has had to close it's doors to in house seating after dark, but they do have pick up available at night.

The place was clean without smelling of cleaning solutions, was laid out in a nice way, and had friendly staff.

We'll stop there again! Note that the stars total should be about 4.75 not 4, but partial stars are not an option.“

“3/4/2026 My friend and I went here to eat supper and the waitress was very nice and friendly and took our order and it was perfect and the cook was nice and friendly as well great service the best I ever had if I could give more stars it would be a 10 I think April was the name of the waitress.Also the store was completely clean all the tables and floors and the waitress line.These two women deserves a couple of free meals and a thank you for their outstanding service“

“I LOVED this location. I’m a big Waffle House fan to begin with and I just moved to this area. Staff was super friendly, they were very busy but stayed on top of everything. Even offered me a free waffle because the wait was long. Very cool crew! Manager was so sweet. Definitely will be back!“

“We came because we were in a rush but would go again just because it was actually good.Deb was friendly towards our family and even gifted me a REAL FLOWER on Mother's Day! Everything tasted fresh and cooked properly. It was quick, affordable and I was surprised at the quality of the meal.“

“Location is busy. Parking is a bit congested. We were able to sit quickly, but had to wait for someone to bus our table. We ordered our food, and it was ready pretty quickly. The music playing through the intercom system was a bit loud for our taste, making it difficult to hear. Overall, it was busy, the overall inside temperature was making it warm and uncomfortable. We paid, tipped, and left. Not really a location we plan to revisit.“

“Shout out to the cook Jordan, you are the best cook, from any other waffle house I've been to! Also are waitress Arlene you are great 👍 Good job! definitely need a pay raise!!! Update: Another visit to this place, Kandice our waitress was great, never had to ask for anything. She was on top of it. Keep up the good work. Still doing good except when the female, I think she's a manager. She knows nothing about cooking nor the grill!“

“Stopped here with 15 coworkers to grab breakfast before a long day of meetings. Snoop, Kenzie and the rest of the staff were very polite and attentive. Food came out fast and orders were correct. They checked up on us frequently and took care of all of our needs. A+ service and presentation. If you like Waffle House as much as I do, I recommend eating here. It's a prime example of WH brand standards being upheld.

“I think her name was Katie? but she did an outstanding job both times that I was in there. Just so happened I visited the place at 2:00pm in the afternoon, and then the way things worked out in my schedule I was back there at 2:00am that morning to see her still there working. She was the only one there that really knew what was going on and could straighten everything out when orders were messed up because of new employees in training etc and she was able to work things out on the fly! I want to put her in for a raise, even though it won't do any good. Still want to give her a shout out because of the job that she did of cooking, cleaning, and waiting on tables, and helping the other employees figure their job out.“

“The wait on a Saturday was terrible. And it was after we sat down. But the other waffle House is next to me was closed for inside dining. But once we got our food it seemed like there was a lot of tension between the waitresses. And it was out loud so the customers could hear it.“

“Came to the Waffle House after Cracker Barrel was short staffed and didn't have enough waiters/waitresses to serve it's customers. Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was clean. There was only one other family in the restaurant. I sat at the counter. I was waited on as soon as I entered. I ordered the All star with sausage and grits. The grits weren't the best. I couldn't eat them because they had a bad smell and taste. Outside of the grits everything else was good.“

“Had it for the first time and I personally have never liked breakfast diner hashbrowns EVER but they were very delicious and cooked thoroughly and with the steak! I cant wait to try the rest of the menu Olivia and the cook was very nice and helpful from the start and provided top notch service 10 out of 5 experience thank you !“

“Really brought me back to that old southern hospitality vibe. It was my first time here and boy they did not disappoint. I got their all star breakfast and every inch of that plate was clean by the time I finished. I was only visiting Nashville, but this might just bring me back.“
