Always love to stop at a Waffle House!!!! This one is close to where I was visiting and the service was great and of course the food was hot, fresh and affordable.

The $4.50 waffle was mid and the hashbrowns tasted like cat urine, but hey they got my order correct.

Pick any single one but this one. We've been to all of them in a 30m radius. The one on Dickerson is closest to this one and just treats folk better. They will treat you right. I promise. You will not be disappointed anytime you pass this place. If your time is not a big deal great. You can spend an hour getting seated and 30m getting food. Theres nothing wrong with the food. It's the turnover rate. Nobody is cleaning tables or seating customers. You'll be served faster at every other single location.

Great prices but looking for a cheap breakfast recommend this place.

I had the best experience! Sam was very attentive and courteous to every guest. He was the only employee working tonight. The host, server & cook! My cheesesteak bowl was hot and delish. I've visited other locations recently and the service was not good. This location is by far my favorite! I'll be back & hopefully Sam will be working! 10/10

Last Sunday, I knew getting off the plane that I'd need a late lunch in Nashville. Where should I eat? As unconventional as my choice was, I craved getting the all-star special at Waffle House. It's my go-to meal. The last time I had anything from this chain was in 2019 in Dallas. The closest one stateside from my home is in Ohio. I remember vacationing in Erie, PA several years ago and crossing over the stateline to get my fix. Yep, I'm a huge fan. I have loved Waffle House since my friend in Macon, GA took me there the morning after our graduation. She got me hooked on having a huge waffle and I haven't looked back since. Nashville does not have any shortage of Waffle House locations. I did a quick search and found this location. It took me no time to reach it. I backed into a spot and walked in. The idea is that you seat yourself at a table and a server comes over to take your order. Unfortunately, I had to sit at a table that hasn't been fully wiped down. I looked at the menu and knew what I wanted, even if I hadn't read it. I'd say that perhaps ten minutes had blown by where no one came over to say hi and take my order. The manager, an older male, noticed and flagged someone to wipe down my table. The woman who did was nice. She then flagged another woman to take my order. Eventually, I probably spoke to every staff member on shift. Everyone was incredibly nice and apologetic. I ordered the all-star special: - Over-medium eggs - Buttered wheat toast - Grits - Sausage patties - Waffle I also ordered a Diet Coke. It came out first. It was cold and refreshing. Eventually, I got a refill because I was that thirsty. My food came next. The eggs were perfect. There was some runny yolk, which I loved sopping up with the wheat toast. It was buttered in the centre only. It was weird, but not horrible. Each triangle was toasted the way that I like it. I am probably odd for liking grits. Between a heaping mound of hash browns or grits, I like the latter. They were fine. However, it ran on the drier side and I like them with more moisture. It was my only gripe. The sausage patties were yummy. I forgot to take a photo of my entire waffle before I tore into it. It had Waffle House branded on it. I put some syrup on it and enjoyed every mouthful. It was heavenly to eat it after a few years. Another server came over to bring me my bill. It's still yellow in colour. She said that she discounted my food because I sat there and had to wait. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture. I am incredibly patient that I don't expect to get compensated for waiting. She took care of my payment. She ran my credit card through their payment system, and came back with a receipt for me to sign and add a tip. She liked my credit card's design. It's a cassette tape on the front. Customer service is stellar at this location. Folks care, despite how hectic the place can get. I had a yummy late lunch. The food satisfied all my cravings well. I'd return when I'm in the area.
