Clean, fun, best eggs and grits ever!!! Cost is higher then I remember. And now it's. 65 cents per item on hashbrowns when " all the way" use to not be so itemized. This is not the cooks or servers fault.
The 3rd shift crew is wonderful. I have stopped by this location twice. And each time they have made my waffles just the way i love them. (2 Light waffles)Jerri Ann and Caine made me feel more like a friend than just a customer. I was suppose to write my review on January 27, 2024. But my work schedule has been a little hectic. It's nothing like receiving wonderful customer service in a friendly and relaxing place like this. Great food and great staff.

How does waffle house run out of grits at 12/1pm on a Sunday? We orders drinks but left when we found out they didnt have grits. Also no options for people who don't eat pork/

Awful!!! Came in yesterday evening around 4 pm. No one was in there really. All of the tables had dirty dishes on them. There was one clean table available. So we sat down and ordered coffee and the coffee was cold. The cook was smoking an e cigarette inside. Who does that? I ordered a sweet tea and I took one sip and left. We paid for the drinks and left even though we didn't drink them. We've patronized this neighborhood staple for years and it's just gone down hill. Don't go during the evening shift. It's awful.

Stopped here tonight to get 2 large sweet teas to go because it's the only place open at 12 AM and I was treated poorly by the server and the manager on duty. They weren't busy, only had 2 customers in the whole restaurant that were already eating, and they acted like me coming and getting my two drinks was such a hassle for them so they were very rude and hateful.

So I decided that I wanted Waffle House anyways. This one is just down the street from the McGavock Pike one and is open at 5:30am :) glad I got here and I will be going to this one instead of the other from now on. Worth the drive.
