We will not be coming back here anymore! It’s very unprofessional how an employee is vaping in the back while my kids and I are dining in!
Apathetic, rude, cold, emotionless service. Good enough coffee, but my god, just like another spot in East Nash the other day, I feel as if I’m right back in the hellhole that is Los Angeles. You walk in, feel like you’re ruining someone’s day by just existing and get charged $8 for a small cup of coffee. Hey man, I haven’t had my coffee yet, I’m not exactly jumping for joy either… but this is the second day in a row chick with glasses and sublime shirt at the front was this way. She scowled and barely said hello, then proceeded to do this to every customer that walked in after me. I’m sorry if you’re going through a rough time, but newsflash, you have no idea what other people are going through. Learn to fake a smile or quit!!!
Yeast Nashville is a hidden gem! It’s a Czech-style bakery and café that specializes in kolaches, and they do them right. I tried the jalapeño sausage and cheese kolache—savory, perfectly baked, and full of flavor. I also had the Sweet Cream Cheese Kolache, which was rich, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious.
The pricing is extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The staff were kind, patient, and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a kolache connoisseur, this place is definitely worth the stop. I’ll be back for sure!
A great gem - Came here all three days we were in Nashville for some snacks. The blueberry kolache and muffin were great, the savoury muffin was super tasty. We also had the broccoli crustless quiche but there was not much broccoli in there sadly and not as tasty as the muffins.
This place is lovely. Their atmosphere is very welcoming and they have such a lovely staff. The sweet gal that helped us was very friendly and made our first experience wonderful. The kolaches that they have are sooo good! Never had one until today and loved it. I tried the sweet cream cheese and blueberry kolache. I personally loved the cream cheese one (and still thinking about it). Hopefully they can do combinations such as blueberry n cream cheese.
Coffee tastes really good as well as their quiche. They run out of items fast so I think it is best to come as early as possible.
Great kolache and muffin for breakfast.
Kolaches (meat and sweet) are good. On the other hand, their cinnamon rolls are not good. I’ve tried them twice and both times very dry.
Coffee drinks are on point.
Service is kind of lacking—seems like they’d rather be anywhere else other than there.
It's ok
Delicious!!!! Tried a variety of sweet and savory and enjoyed them so much we ate the one we were planning on saving for someone else and had to get another. I immediately followed on Instagram to see what the daily flavors are. Can’t wait to come back! :)
Ps- The woman working the register was also very kind.
Pps- Try the cinnamon bun!!
Central Texas native here, so I know my kolaches — and Yeast Nashville knows what they are doing. Their kolaches are the closest thing in Nashville to what I grew up eating in the Lone Star State.

The staff went out of their way to help me when my oven had broken and I couldn't bake a Take and Bake order myself. They baked my order up for me while I had delicious coffee and I'm so grateful for their help! This is why we love local small businesses!!

Great place, just wish they would have food until they close. Often, they run out prior to closing.

I went there around 12pm on Saturday so there were few choices. I ordered blueberry. It was satisfying with blueberry jam and savory.

When we have out of town visitors, we always bring them here! Amazing selection of baked goods. Everything is absolutely delicious!
We were looking for breakfast, something that was not a chain. We were not impressed. Guests who were done eating were essentially blocking the doorway once we got inside. When we walked in, we had to weave through tables to get around them. No staff acknowledged that we had walked in. Although as we walked up they laid a sign down that said what their specials were for the day. We thought that was odd, and we still were not greeted. We looked at the case, decided what we wanted and ordered. They were out of several things even though it did not appear that they were as we pointed to what we wanted. They asked if we wanted our food warmed up. We said yes. It was lukewarm at best and microwaved. Someone came in behind us, they were not greeted either, and walked out without ordering. The food was mid. One of the things we ordered was sausage with bread around it, the bread was absolutely fresh and delicious and the only reason this is a 3 star and not a 2 star. The sausage was what looked like a Slim Jim. It was nasty. We were not offered a drink to go with our meal (common upsell). The "dessert" item my husband got was very good. My quiche was cold in the middle. I hate cold quiche. I would never go back.
