Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

My family used to stop here occasionally for dinner after church prior to the "event" of 2020. We stopped going here during the "event" as this place clearly suffered from management and staffing issues during the "event" and we discovered a FAR SUPPERIOR chicken place just 20 mins down the road. Last evening, after church, we were really pressed for time and decided that we'd give Zaxby's a try as we hadn't been there in over 4 years.

Atmosphere: The place was empty with no one in it on a Saturday evening at dinner time - not a good sign for any food establishment.

Food: The size of the chicken tenders is laughably small - about the size of a grown man's index finger and were unseasoned and bland, but edible. The portion of fries was astonishingly small - I don't think there were more than a dozen - then I thought maybe they count out 3 fries per tender? Fries were limp and soggy (as I always remembered them) and also unseasoned. The coleslaw was typical mass produced slaw scooped out of a 5 gallon bucket.

You don't get your food served to you on a tray or plate of any kind either. Clearly, the franchise can't staff with competent help/management capable of cleaning trays. So, whether you eat in or take out - you get your order loaded in multiple Styrofoam containers and plastic to-go bags. I'm not a save-the-planet type, but honestly, do we need to be generating unnecessary plastic garbage to sit in a landfill forever?

Overall, a terrible dining experience and we won't be going back. It's clear that the handwriting is on the wall for this Zaxby's to ultimately close - just like the one in Franklin did.

There are other options for food - especially chicken - there is no reason to support a poorly run restaurant serving poor quality food at inflated prices.

I got the chicken finger plate and honestly it tasted like something I could make at home in the microwave

I ordered to go for curbside pickup. When they brought out the food I didn't check each and every thing(my fault), but when I got home there were no sauces at all. Despite several of the food items either listing they came with it, or you could select extra sauce. I might have even paid extra for some of the sauce only to get none at all. Lesson learned, next time I'll take extra time and have them wait while I check and make sure they gave me everything. The young girl who brought the food out was very nice and the food was good.

I eat there while in Bellevue, foods great, service is great. Just how is it, everytime I order a regular coke, not a litter of cola . Lol I always get coke zero instead of regular coke. Everytime I go there.

i overheard 3 employees, a blonde male employee, a male with dark brown hair and a male with dirty blonde hair talking about how high they were when i was in the bathroom. this is extremely unprofessional and i find it deeply irresponsible of them hiring irresponsible teenagers. god knows what theyre on.

Waited forever in a empty drive thru, I ordered then I ended up having to wait again , then I asked for extra fries they didn’t give me extra fries , ordered sweet tea for it to be unsweetened. Went inside asked for my food fresh and EXTRA fries , they still failed me . I give up !

My order has been wrong at the drive thru the last 3 times i’ve come here. Like at this point its kind of a joke with my family about it. Last time it was minor like i payed for an extra sauce but didnt get it, and this time I ordered a big zax scnack meal or whater and it came with buffalo wings instead of fingers. Pretty sure its a bunch of kids running the place, and I’ve worked at places like that before and its cool but yall need a manager to get some quality control because I like the food and it sucks being bummed out every time i go.

You spend 15 dollars on a combo and ask them to the wings in some sauce and they can't do it?! No, thank you.

Food good. Staff inattentive at drive thru. Could be more engaged with customers. I asked for honey mustard and did not receive. No napkins.
