“I decided I would stop by and pick dinner up, after driving by so many times. I ordered the chicken plate, BbQ plate and a BbQ sandwich. I was very surprised and impressed by the chicken plate. The chicken breast was huge and cooked to perfection. The loaded potato salad, slaw and beans were delicious. I got the BbQ plate for my brother and the BbQ sandwich for my mom. I will be going regularly to pick up food for dinner probably once a week. It was affordable and well worth the money!!!”

“My family and I visited Camden, TN from the Chicagoland area and LOVED the shack. Don was so helpful, fun to chat with, and makes incredible food. We loved the Shack so much we had to go two times for more amazing BBQ! We had it all… Ribs, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Bologna…. Don’t forget the homemade Mac and cheese and the BBQ sauce. Thank you Don! And you’ll be happy to know we listened to the Screaming Cheetah Wheelies last night… will be adding to my playlist! What a little gem of a restaurant!”

“This place has great food. The closing time is wrong online says 8 on sunday they closed at 6. I called at 5:45 on sunday to place take out order was put on hold and never came back. When we got at diner all locked up waitress said closed. If you are closing at 6 and someone calls to order at 5:45 at least say so not leave them on hold and never return.”

This was some of the best pulled pork I have had in years. The smoke flavor was outstanding.

The baked beans were flavorful and delicious.

The green beans with ham. Just cries comfort for the soul.

Stopped by for some lunch. The pork loin was well smoked with a good quarter inch smoke ring. The pork cut was a good inch thick and very tasty. Excellent mashed potatoes and greens. Second meal was the beef patty with onions and gravy. Baked beans and sweet potatoes. Again outstanding meal.
Portions were large, filling and well worth the price.”

“Groovy fries love the crisp to the fries. I have not been here in a year I ordered a medium Banana milkshake today , it was bad, it did not even have a banana flavor to it, it tasted like vanilla and it was over half whip cream it was so sweet it was sickening. I will not go they again.”

“Good all-around restaurant, nice people work there. The food is better than surrounding areas Chinese restaurants. The atmosphere is a little bit more American than some of the restaurants that has more Chinese decorations and Chinese music, etc. which is no complaint from me. I’m there for food. There’s only a few restaurants in Camden I eat at anymore due to either poor food quality or expensive prices where you don’t get what you paid for. This place is a good all-around choice. Happy medium on price and good food.”

“Food was great, made to order and was good but the younger lady this morning was rude, didnt greet customers, and gave attitude towards customers when she didnt hear other peoples orders. She also was wearing slippers, and pajama bottoms and no hat or name tag. It looked very unprofessional. I will not be returning while she is working.”
