No much to look at from the outside but the food was good. Giving this place a 5 because the burger is so flavourful and tasted great. It was a 5 napkin burger. Only thing that would make it better would be a better bun. Potato salad was homemade and had green peppers in it. Bummer. I wish I could have eaten something from the fryer as there were many things on the menu I would have liked to try. Unfortunately, I am highly allergic to catfish and everything is cooked in the same fryer. So sad. My drink was filled, staff was attentive, table was regularly bussed, staff was attentive. I will be back to try your prime rib and if I am running errands in Newport I know my new go to place for a burger.
Stopped for lunch on our way to Lexington. We sat ourselves but we’re greeted promptly. I ordered the pork chops lunch special with pasta salad and baked beans. Everything was tasty. My husband ordered the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and green beans. We loved the chicken and dumplings and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Definitely worth a try for anyone coming by this way.
All you can eat catfish means if you have 35 minutes to wait for the first 2 pieces, then 15 minutes for each additional piece, this is your spot. Just spent an hour and thirty-five minutes for four pieces of fish. The whole scene of this restaurant is Tennessee Vols, yet they don’t have the game playing.
A family couldn’t even eat and got told to leave because they had a non verbal child, pathetic!!!
Delicious burgers, amazing waitstaff, low prices, and cold drinks. + my super picky 3 year old ate her entire grilled cheese so it must have been pretty good too!
We came here after reading reviews about a great burger. We were so disappointed. If I could give a zero I would. It said seat yourself, which should have been a sign. We did and watched as emany people who came in after us got water and menus, we waited 30 minutes, and NOTHING. No acknowledgement of our presence. We left. Don't bother going here unless you know the staff, we were not the only people that left!!!!!
Service was not good server got Pissy
It was good. The meal was $8.23. The waiter brought back $11.25, out of a 20. They might need to check the honesty of employees!
Had a couple of very good Ribeye steaks with onion rings and salad. Fried mushrooms and cold brew. Very good. Down home country cooking and friendly, courteous staff.
Great food! Some of the best shrimp I've ever eaten!

it was good, nothing spectacular. I had the grilled chicken salad sandwich. I wish I had not gotten it grilled, turned it greasy. The chicken salad itself was very good. the ticket cost was $8.23. I received $11.25 , back from a 20 The oldest trick in the books to increase your daily tips, hurt her in this case!
The food was fantastic. Our server was very friendly and accepted us warmly as we came in 20 minutes before close. The only negative was another server that made sure we heard her comment that they weren’t going to get out of there until late. You’d think if anything was learned over the past year and half about the service industry it’s to be thankful for the customers you have. ?
I've had multiple burgers and they have always been really good. Unfortunately I haven't tried anything else but I need to get in there on a Friday and try the prime rib. Oh and the staff have always been awesome as well.
Wed and sat 6.50 any kind of burger, side and a drink. Burger was hand patted and flavorful. Drinks were never empty and service was great. We will be back. Wanna try to Reuben or catfish po'boy!
Had the smothered chicken meal with pasta salad and potato salad. Good but not spectacular. Restaurant looked a little run down but it’s definitely clean.
