On a whim, tonight we decided to eat Chinese. We had heard that small Chinese restaurants in non descript shopping malls were often very good. This China 1 restaurant was no exception. We entered to a very clean and brightly lit dining room. After being seated we were asked about drinks and that part of our order was quickly delivered. We ordered soups and two spring rolls before deciding upon dinner. I had Hot and Sour soup and my dining patter had the Wonton soup. Both were excellent. Mine had just the right “heat” and hers had lovely large noodles. I ordered the Szechuan shrimp & chicken dish called “Szechuan Double Style” on the menu and she ordered the sweet and sour pork.. Both came out quickly and were scrumptious. All in all I would highly recommend this China 1 restaurant and will return.

Shrimp tempura roll was amazing but California roll was nasty and seaweed salad was not as good as in the past

We were pleasantly surprised to find CHINA 1. Nice staff and the food was prepared well, and came out fast and hot. The portions were bigger than expected. We went with traditional Chinese.
Looking forward to trying the sushi next time.

8-17-24. We are local. Our first time here. Excellent food. Authentic excellent and friendly service. Clean and quiet (except for loud women next to us - LOL ?). Great prices too. We loved our experience. Highly recommend.

Our family enjoys this place. Our son says to “give everything 5 stars!” Next to pizza, Chinese is his favorite food and whether take out or dine in, everything we’ve ordered has been good to the choosy child. The paying parents can’t complain either.
