My (now) husband and I rented the whole venue for our wedding on Nov 6, 2021. From the moment we booked to the day of my event was so smooth and painless. Debbie, the wedding planner, made my life so easy. We traveled from out of state and she helped me with vendors and how to get our marriage license. Not to mention she she also baked my wedding cake and was better than i could have imagined. All of my guests enjoyed every minute. The food was absolutely delicious. Jamie, the bartender, was quick and tentative even while training a new bartender and my guests kept her on her toes! I could go on forever about how amazing our experience was. I don’t have a single negative comment. We can’t wait to be back in the future. I will recommend Christopher Place Resort to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience with Debbie, our wedding planner. We purchased the elopement package: An Affair for Two. Debbie was so attentive to all of our needs that it made it a stress free experience for us. She also took the most beautiful pictures of our wedding. I would highly recommend Debbie. We stayed in the Roman Holiday room which was quite nice. The whole staff there was so friendly and accommodating.

We recently revisited Christopher Place to celebrate our 20th anniversary since our honeymoon there in 2001. We enjoyed our stay in the same room we had back then. The room had been renovated but was still recognizable with the same personality. The house and staff were always warm and welcoming after our days spent exploring the bounty of beauty that is the Great Smoky Mountains. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and dinners throughout our visit for a great start and end to every day. We promise it will not be 20 years before our next visit.

We had a delightful stay for my husbands Birthday getaway last week ! The property is beautiful, and the hospitality was overwhelming !Everyone, including the owner/host, could not have been more attentive and kind in making sure we had a relaxing and elevated experience. From cocktails in the pub, to a 5 star dinner, to a charming room !!! We will look forward to staying with this host and staff on another special getaway! Joanna & Bob

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a 2 night stay and dinner. The atmosphere is peaceful and intimate allowing for relaxing and refreshing couple time. The breakfast and dinner was superb. Your location is remote and quiet but also convenient for adventures during the day.

We were married here yesterday and stayed a few nights in Margaret’s room. Everything was beautiful and the wedding coordinator was also the photographer and she baked our wedding cake! For having other new staff, everyone was friendly and seemed to do a bit of everything. We brought a few family members with us and they truly enjoyed the views as well. It was a great getaway and an intimate place to have a wedding. We will be coming back to stay for sure! A hidden gem in the mountains!!

Beautiful view. Great food. Decor is still stuck in the 1970's.

My husband and I held our wedding and stayed 3 nights at Christopher Place and it exceeded our expectations! Debra, Amy, Amanda, Adam, Karen made our stay perfect! The most relaxing, professional, down to earth, clean, attentive, beautiful place we have ever stayed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was such a gorgeous place to shoot photos for a wedding! Their staircase was the perfect back drop for this intimate ceremony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were so many beautiful locations on the property to take photos at. Just magical!

Beautiful, secluded mountain resort. The daily sunrise in the mountains from Margaret's room was breathtaking. Watching the fog lift from the smokies while rocking on the porch was so peaceful and I would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway with good food and a great view.
