Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Our food was great as always but this last trip we had poor service. She was prompt on greeting us and taking our order but never followed through. I finally got up & found another server to fill my husband's drink. We asked to split tip but since we paid by cc they said we couldn't. I said I would be back but I don't think they believed me. I did come back in 5 mins. & took to the other server & she looked like she would cry. This was in Newport, TN & we will be back.

Vegetarian options: The waitress never came by to see if we needed any thing .

gave this one another shot. should of know better. 30 minutes for breakfast with restaurant not being busy. felt bad for girl at register as she was trying to give good service but the other person was rude.

Picked up curbside breakfast order this morning. Food was tasty and the young lady who brought our order out was polite and courteous. I appreciated her positive attitude and friendly service. Whether you are a local or just visiting Newport, stop by and try this place out for yourself!

ordered the turkey...couldn't select sides..took what came with the turkey..turkey was very good..sweet potato very loose...got my coffer no spoon..then brought a soup spoon...husband got rootbeer in a bottle..no glass or straw...cost has really gone up..cheaper to stay home..for 2...

Ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner. Had turkey, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Dressing, Gravy, and Cranberry Sauce. The turkey breast was very moist and everything tasted really good. Needed to have more gravy, was only given a small container. Would order again.

The food was great but the waitress was very slow. It took the kitchen staff over an hour to get our food to us. We were a party of nine.

Excellent service and food! Best place in town to eat! If your a resident or passing through its a perfect place to eat and shop.

The food was disappointing. The grits were watered down as if to try to stretch them so the kitchen would not have to make more, the pancakes-- which used to be fluffy and the size of the plate--were now about half that size and thin, the "thick cut" bacon was like the bacon you would make at home--thin, greasy, and curled, and finally, the eggs were tasteless.
Cracker Barrel breakfast used to be something special, but now it reminded me of a breakfast more like Denny's.

The food was decent but I was there on veterans Day and service was really slow sat there for over an hour before we got our food. And it was very crowded

Seated immediately but waited between about 10 minutes to get waited on even though restaurant less than half full. Waited even longer to get food.

The only thing colder than my food was the general warmth of the all the barely alive people eating here. My meat was tougher than shoe leather. Who serves coffee, but doesn't provide a spoon to stir it with. I felt unsafe there with so many mayo colored people. It was like being in a bad horror movie.
