The folks who run this wonderful little cafe went out of their way to set up a big table for my family in advance. We gathered together from four different states and thoroughly enjoyed the good food and fine, friendly service. Add to that the love our family shared, and it was perfect! Needless to say, I'd highly recommend Grill 73 to anyone traveling through the area. (FYI: It is a bit off the beaten-path, but not too far. Plus, it's a beautiful drive.)

We have eaten there several times. This is not fast food. This is good home cooked food. Food is cooked to order, not in bulk. It’s worth the wait.
Small restaurant and parking, but you can park across the street. We usually go in the middle of the afternoon to avoid crowds.
The Beef Stroganoff is not on the menu. I asked if they had it and he said yes. I ordered it and it is very good! The meat is tender and the home made sauce is rich and delicious. The little fried flatbread that comes with it is made fresh while you wait and has what she called a secret seasoning sprinkled on top. If you want the desert after dinner you will have to wait a few minutes because she will have to make it. Definitely worth the wait. Even if you are full I recommend ordering it. It's not a whole lot but you will end up eating all 3, after they cool down a bit.

I stopped by with a small group of extended family from Ukraine, thinking this was a nicely rated Slavic place serving traditional meals.
I was very unpleasantly surprised when the owners, Russians, were very hostile towards us and passive with a twinge of aggression when they heard us conversing. The atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable but we had already sat fine and taken menus so thought it would be rude to leave suddenly.
The owners had no other guests at that point in the afternoon and took nearly an hour to bring us our food. A majority of it was not very good, some of the dishes meant to be warm being nearly room temperature.
We ate uncomfortably and they brought the bill eventually. Wow, did they overcharge us. The meal was supposed to be 35$ since we ordered very little and it was over 50$. They took away the menus, so we didn’t want to fight them on it and were worried they’d overcharge our cards so we payed cash and left.
Would not recommend this place to others.

The cabbage rolls were delicious. It was a very strange environment. I was the only one there on a Saturday afternoon, it was very dark inside, and the owners were watching a Russian TV program that was so loud.

Don't pass by this little gem! Wonderful food! Nice folks. Try the scalloped potato pie with tender, delicious pork topped with dill sauce. Slaw comes with it and it's the best slaw on the planet! ❤️
