Went for a few drinks and to play pool. They only have 1 pool table. I recommend they get another bc a lot of ppl had their money on the table to play. Service and atmosphere was good.

Wow!!! It is great that it is open again!!! We travel quite often, and Newport is one of our favorite stops, and having Michael's open again is GREAT!! Wonderful service, Awesome food and GREAT music, Atmosphere is great, my wife and I highly recommend it, and the fact that it is a LOCAL business is the extra plus!! Support your locals and have a Great time, I had the Angus burger and the wife had the chicken strips with the Cajun sauce. Awesome ?

Between 2017 and 2019, we would have dinner here during our travels between TN and NC. The food and atmosphere were always a 5-star experience.In Dec. 2023, we stopped here for the 1st time since Dec 2019. The atmosphere went high-end lounge to a backwoods bar with food that wouldn't cut it at a convenience store. The chicken wings were the size of the pinky finger on the hand of a small adult. The pulled pork was a mush of a over powering sauce and what I think was pork - couldn't tell by the taste. Definitely not the dining experience to waste money on.

I don't drink but the service was great, the food is good. They were closed during covid but back open. Next to the Best Western. Plenty of parking.

A great place for a drink, bartender who worked in March 16th was awesome! The food was excellent and lots of it. Country music, Couches and a fire pit. What more could you want for an evening wind down.

The sign on the highway sold me. But the food just did not live up to the sales pitch. Steak ordered rare was medium. And the meat was low quality filled with gristle. The only thing that gets them 3 stars was the excellent service in the bar area where I sat. I strongly suggest investing in a better cut of meat and teach the folks cooking how to prepare it in the most common way Ribeye is ordered.

Bartender would not pay attention was underserved all night last call was not properly announced and was highly disappointed when I spent three hours of time there and only was served three drinks the entire time there was a 25-minute wait in between one empty and even catching the attention to receive another there was six patrons in the bar I will not be returning anytime soon. 1 * just because they were open
