This place is wonderful. There is a gift there for EVERYONE in your life. They are very knowledgeable about plants and they sell items from local artists and businesses. Including Bear Food (look it up-they are an amazing business and the brittle is to die for!).They also have a nursery a short distance away with very reasonably priced perennials, annuals, garden plants and house plants. The staff of both facilities are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t say enough about this place, you MUST see it for yourself.

Pretty frustrating. We drove all the way from the freeway hauling a 60 foot trailer and got it parked in the tiny parking area to come find out that the deli wasn’t open even though it says it’s open online. Got to keep those things up-to-date. You can really inconvenience people.
First time at the store, Walt was very helpful. Had a nice conversation and gave me some good ideas on how to help myself.

Went in with what I would consider sever stomach/digestion problems. I couldn’t eat anything without feeling very ill. Ill as in i would eat a little something, and within 20 minutes be hunched over in so much pain. I went in, was open and honest about my past and what my symptoms were. Super kind and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and oh so helpful. Today was the first day in four weeks I ate a filling meal for dinner. No agonizing pain in my stomach. I’m so thankful to have a place and such wonderful folks to turn to in our community. Thank you so much.

The Mustard Seed is full of items that are as unique and helpful as their employees. An absolute must see if you’re in the area, for some maybe even the excuse to visit Newport. I picked up everything from soap to seeds and couldn’t be happier. The cashier and owner made my day with their smiles alone. However it must also be noted how knowledgeable they both were. 10/10
