First off your food is either too raw or rotten. Everything I eat there I get sick shortly after eating. Lastly your website on your Facebook leads to a Chinese/Japanese pornography website which is vile and disgusting. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

24 December, 2019. Not a lot of restaurants open in Newport. We don't live here so we Googled trying to find a place to eat. Portabellas came up as an option; and we were not disappointed. The food was good, the waitress was attentive and the Baklava was just as good as my Greek mother on laws.

I should have got pizza, I suppose. I ordered an eggplant parmesan sandwich and the spinach cheese dip. It was subpar at best. The dip was runny, the chips were actually stale, and the frozen eggplant was cooked in dirty old oil. The bread was great. Not sure if I'll be back.

Garlic knots are fantastic. Pizza has a great crust but the sauce could have more flavor. The salads are huge.

Our service was great our food was super tasty! Will be going back! It was a great experience. It has changed for the better since the first time we went there.

we had pizza, stromboli, and lasagna. All of us agreed, best ever. small quiet place, great staff, FANTASTIC food. Best place I've gone in Newport. DON"T WAIT>>> GO NOW

I've been within 100 feet of this restaurant a few dozen times and never noticed it before. I thought it was a dress shop or something. Tucked into a small strip mall, you wouldn't expect such great food at reasonable prices. I intend to return every chance I get. I had the lunch special: Eggplant Parmesan with a side of Spaghetti. The eggplant was cooked to perfection with just the right blend of ingredients and the plain marinara sauce on the pasta was anything but plain. It was delicious. I had forgotten to mention "Al Dente" as my preference for the pasta. Not to worry. It was perfectly cooked. I can't wait to try other items. Of course living 1200 miles away means it may not be too often, sadly. Based on this one small lunch I already think this is one of my favorite Italian Restaurants.

My wife and I were exited to try Portobella’s Italian Bistro but soon left after ordering 2 waters I saw crawling behind my wife’s head Cockroaches we immediately got up and left, and the worst part was the Server didn’t seem surprised

I won't go into a long list of things we didn't like. If you want to try something new, then great. If you want good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere, then this isn't the place.

We usually end up having dinner here every time we're in Newport for a few days. The pasta dishes are delicious and they have the best pizza in town. They usually aren't very busy, so we've never had to wait for a table. I am always amazed that they aren't busier because the food is so good. They also deliver!!

We ate there a few weeks ago. Service was ok at best. Food was not great.
