24 December, 2019. Not a lot of restaurants open in Newport. We don't live here so we Googled trying to find a place to eat. Portabellas came up as an option; and we were not disappointed. The food was good, the waitress was attentive and the Baklava was just as good as my Greek mother on laws.
we had pizza, stromboli, and lasagna. All of us agreed, best ever. small quiet place, great staff, FANTASTIC food. Best place I've gone in Newport. DON"T WAIT>>> GO NOW
I've been within 100 feet of this restaurant a few dozen times and never noticed it before. I thought it was a dress shop or something. Tucked into a small strip mall, you wouldn't expect such great food at reasonable prices. I intend to return every chance I get. I had the lunch special: Eggplant Parmesan with a side of Spaghetti. The eggplant was cooked to perfection with just the right blend of ingredients and the plain marinara sauce on the pasta was anything but...
