I don't know if it's the owner or manager, but one of the higher ups has come into work multiple times while I've been ordering and berates her staff in front of customers. Her employee had a line to the door and she came in and complained about how the back area looked in front of 8-10 people. Great staff and food but dreadful leadership.

The manager here talks down to employees here consistently and deliberately in front of customers. It's small but very busy! Good employees don't stick around here for very long. Drive thru is closed a lot now. This shop has never reached its full potential. New management is sorely needed here.

A typical subway quick and healthy. We visited this location during our road trip.
Given we are vegetarian Subway is our go to food went travelling.
The store was clean and well maintained and the service was quick.

This is the most ridiculous place in Newport to try and buy a Sub! The staff are trying to be so fast they can't/won't hear your preference of choices. Rude doesn't begin to cover any of them! Horrible service! One wants you to know his personal life of how his wife cheated on him so he left her...boo hoo? I don't care!! I want to eat! I asked for oil, he poured until I had to stop him and I was looking for chips so..how much did I get?? Don't know yet..haven't tried it...my husband had to finish up because I literally (nearly) ran out. They yelled and over talked each other and their customers. I'd give them zero stars if it allowed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I’ve had this subway twice now in the last month….first time I waited 30 minutes for my order, I just thought it was a one time thing and waved it off. Things happen. Yet now this is the second time I’ve had issues.
I waited at the window after placing my order, with no one to even come greet me so I could pay, for over 15 minutes. They claimed the drive thru alert wasn’t working. I would understand a bit more, however, in between that time I saw three people pass the window, and no one thought it was weird there was a car waiting in the drive thru? Someone could have said something to me so I didn’t feel like maybe they weren’t open yet. I almost decided to just drive away.
Maybe they truly did not see me, I am not sure. The food is good, but seems to me like they need some fixes internally, whether that is around equipment, customer service or both.

This place closes at 11 and it was 10:32 when I arrived and this subway was closed there were employees inside I knocked on the door and they did not open it I was mad

I was waiting in line to order my meal and the manager Ashley told me it would be just a second as i was waiting a lady had her hands full so i decided to hold the door for her as i was walking over to hold the door she made a comment “so impatient” and threw her hands up. Other customers noticed this as well. I don’t find this very professional. As i was writing this a customer just told her she needs to have a better attitude towards her employees and that she is talking bad about them. This problem needs to be solved!! Do better!!
