It has been around 25 years since I last ate at Big Ed's. The atmosphere in this place hasn't changed one bit since the 90s. On to the pizza review, my daughter got hamburger and cheese. My mom got pepperoni and mushrooms with olives. I just got the small pepperoni. Great flop on the pizza, crust was good for the most part however the sauce was kinda bland.
I liked that the pizza crust was t greesy. When I asked the person that took my order about the crust being dairy free, he was very nice and asked if I was allergic and they needed to take precautions.
I came home after graduating from Navy boot camp in 1975. Big Ed used to sit at the end of the bar he looked like an old mobster to me. he bought me a pitcher of beer to celebrate my graduation the pizza was great then and it still is now. I have ate pizza in Naples Italy Big Ed's Pizza is better
