This is the BEST pizza in all of East TN, in my opinion. It's worth the drive from Knoxville to enjoy Big Ed's! Made fresh, by hand, their pizza is a thin, New York style pizza, and baked to order! Their cheese is extra chewy and so delicious! If you get pepperoni, it's gonna be super greasy, but is so good and crispy! Seriously, if you've never tried this place, you're missing out! Closest thing you'll get to authentic NY style pizza anywhere around...
I've been going here since I was a kid. I remember Big Ed sitting at the bar talking to everyone. The food is still pretty good, but I don't think it's as good as it used to be.
Staff very polite ND attentive. Food not good. Pizza barely had sauce on it. Toppings were generous. Busy place so staff may not have had time to keep floor clean. Not impressed and probably won't make the drive to go there any time soon
