Food was good, but service fell short and the server’s priority wasn’t service. Was the restaurant busy? Yes, but this is not a new business and it’s geared for this type of traffic. Drinks took 30+ minutes and food over an hour, not acceptable. Instead of apologies and any remote accommodation the server was dismissive and felt the way to handle it was confront our daughter and frankly she felt intimidated. Brooke, the manager never came over and the server Carrie should have behaved more professionally. Disappointing

Google says no wait, four empty tables, but hostess said 15-20 minute wait.Standing here watching the Four Empty clean tables within the other tables.Two more tables emptied in the last six minutes.Another table empty and one of the other three have been seated.20 minutes and no table, we're gone.No food, No beer, Not happy.

Having never experienced Calhoun's resturant before, I was so impressed with the service, food...the entire atmosphere of this amazing place. They where very accommodating to us from the time we entered....especially to my being handicapped (using a walker) making several trips to our table to see if everything was ok & was there anything else they could get for us. Truely my family, as well as myself, felt very welcomed & accommodated. I would love you to thank our server(s) for us.We highly recommend anyone living in or visiting Tennessee, definitely stop at Calhoun's for great food, service, & welcoming atmosphere. Standard American fair. Decent smoked prime rib, smoked wings, smoked pork and burgers. Not a huge fan of their bbq sauce. The Oak Ridge location in particular is right on the water in a beautiful spot. Additionally we always have very good service. A Great place to go for lunch after church on a sunny day.
