It's Shoney's and I don't have high expectations. The Friday night buffet was not great and most of the food options were quite dry. The staff is always very nice, helpful and hard working.

Went for breakfast I had fixed my plate and a lady came in with her dog and went to the Bar with her dog fixing her plate. Now I do not hate animals but I don’t want them around my food or the food I have to pick from. There should be guidelines on how far this can go. And no she wasn’t bind so I don’t understand why this is allowed. Paid for the meal and left. I will not go back!

I don't ever post negative reviews about a restaurant, but this time I'm taking the time to do it. Rather than spend $13 on the breakfast bar with all you can eat, I had two small pancakes with a side order of bacon, plus coffee and my bill was almost $17!! I could not believe it! The bacon itself was $6 for three slices and each little pancake was $3. I will never eat at Shoney's again. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are so out of line with every restaurant I have ever been to. No wonder the place was mostly empty. There's a reason for that!

I got breakfast food from the buffet and it was cold, and they checked the temps on it, said they were hot, so I got different food that was actually hot. I do actually eat there more than breakfast and they are very good more than not
Vegetarian options: There is enough on the salad and food bar for vegetarian options, I will eat there sometimes and not get meat just vegetables, and when I leave there I am very full

Me and my wife and my parents had eaten there on Thanksgiving, 2024 none of us ate from the salad bar. The Thanksgiving food was horrible from the watered down turkey To the greasy chicken, the tasteless, green beans and the nasty stuffing! Then I get our ticket to pay for the food and I was in shock for four people to eat. I paid $95 for a buffet and my parents can put down the food and neither one of them ate enough that night. Neither did me or my wife. I had one plate of food and only ate half of it. My wife ate a quarter of her plate and my parents had about half a plate each I talked to the manager who told me to call Corporate. I did that only to be told I should’ve came back on Black Friday to talk to a general manager yeah I’m gonna get out and all that traffic and all the chaos going on to speak to a general manager beside the point I wasn’t told to do that! They flat out, refused to give us a refund or comp us a meal! I have spoke with a woman named Nicole from the management office in Knoxville who told me they made $18,000 on Thanksgiving yet they don’t wanna give us a refund! Well Let’s see what the BBB has to say about it! we will never return back to this place and we was eating there every week. I think they take advantage of people since Ryan’s is no longer there and there is no other buffets around except the Chinese buffet, but who wants to eat Chinese food all the time. Restaurants like this needs to be held accountable for their actions. Oh, and by the way, my mom got sick from the food and that’s enough to make anybody mad! Don’t just avoid this Shoney’s avoid all Shoney’s at all cost! $18 for a buffet is stupidly priced I was charged $95 for 4 people to eat my parents didn’t even get a senior discount! You can go to Golden corral and get steak on their buffet, even if it is in Sevierville that’s where we’ll be going from now on!
