Aug 14,24 just stop by take out at captain ds Oakland,tn. They hv the worse service ever. The workers were just laughing and talking took forever to get my order. I stop by on my supper break had an hr off wk rg besides cap ds and live not even 5 mins from there. They took this whole hr messing around trying to wait for my order nv had x to eat cause of the workers nonsense. This place has the worse service ever!

Second time I've tried to eat here and sat at the drive through speaker so long it made me pull off. No other cars in line. Fire the whole crew and start over.

Went there last night to pick up some dinner. Only 3 people in line at the drive through and 2 cars total at the parking lot. Sat there for a quite a while until the car at the order window drove off. Proceeded to wait too long and the car in front of me drove off as well. I got to the window and the person on the intercom said "Hold on a Minute" and after several minutes, never responded again. I tried to give benefit of the doubt that maybe the intercom was malfunctioned, so I drove to the window to place my order and no one was there, at all. I, like the people in front of me just gave up and left. If they are that understaffed, they should just close. Previously, I had gone there and an employee was eating at the window with her gloved hands which is, I'm sure a major violation and it turned me off of eating there for a long time. They are doing a lousy job of who they hire to be professional. They all need better training or more productive and professional employees.

Shorted on an order content. Called them on it and placed on hold for over 7 minutes and just crickets! No napkins either on a drive-through order! Does not compel me to go and give them my money in the future!

I ordered two three piece fish meals and only received one tiny cup of tartar sauce and one of the meals was missing a piece of fish. And the unsweetened ice tea I ordered was sweet tea. For the cost of food at this establishment that kind of poor service is unacceptable. Won’t be back.

I don't know why I'm bothering. They only see positive reviews. Well, everything they've responded to has been positive reviews, except for one negative review.Our first experience here was quite disappointing. The fish just didn't taste as good as it normally does & the shrimp was rubbery. The mac & cheese wss great, huspuppies not so much. And what's up with the size of the fish? This looks more like a strip of crab leg meat battered and fried than any fish filet I've ever seen. And for what they charge it is ridiculous!

First time I tried this location, the catfish fillets were small. The sides as well. It was good though. Tried it again today. Ordered 3 piece catfish dinner just like before. Couldn’t tell exactly what kind of fish it was. It was cooked extra crispy, not like the first catfish nuggets I received. Was hoping at least for some delicious catfish, despite the size. Probably won’t order catfish again. I will give it one last try and order something different. If it’s not satisfactory on the third visit I will no longer eat there. Also, the drive thru attendant threw away my receipt. Common courtesy, hand receipt with card or change. Ask if I want it before trashing it.
We go here 2 to 3 times weekly and many times the food is fresh and taste great. If you go during hours that are not peak, the wait has started to become extended and the food not as fresh. Update, just went through drive thru Sunday 5/6 at 4:45pm and received food after waiting for about 15 minutes in car line. Baked fish is dry and rice is so old it’s hard and not edible. Disappointing as this store started out so well and we don’t want to see it go the same direction as some of the other stores in Oakland. I called the store to speak with a manager but the person answering the phone asked me why I wanted to speak with a manager. When I told her the reason, she became rude and put me on hold. No one ever picked up the line.

I just went back to this location today and had a wonderful experience again. Keep up the good work. I was so excited when I heard Oakland was getting one I will return as many chances as I get. I did get some coupons in the mail today so was happy about that
Giant fish sandwich is great . The lobster bites are a rip off 5 tiny bites for 5.99 unbelievable ?
