This place is always busy because the food is that good. The service is usually very attentive. The atmosphere is a little louder in the evenings than some of the restaurants we frequent, but it’s a very upbeat vibe. Pricing is good - there is no reason to get fast food over a proper meal here, it’ll cost about the same. This is one of our favorite places to stop. Try the burritos deluxe.

This is the best Mexican food around it is really like food in Mexico, we have been to several areas of Mexico and have had some great food. Elnopal in Oakland is the closest we have found to true authentic Mexican food

Food at the Oakland El Nopal is always great. Generally comes out quickly and is always fresh and hot. Moving here from a border city we were skeptical on finding great Mexican food but we found it here!
