My husband and I finally tried The Green Cactus recently as we typically stuck to our routine Mexican restaurant around the corner from our house. We quickly discovered how good their food was! They are family owned and so friendly! We have been back several times since our first time and love the variety and have been satisfied with our meals every time! Definitely one of our go-to’s now! The best restaurant in Oakland, it’s not even close. Great food, better small town service. The Macho Nachos and the Birria Tacos are our favorites, you can’t go wrong with them! Cheap beer and great people, make this place 5 stars all day. Support your local small business here and you won’t be disappointed I promise.
