I went in on my lunch break today and got a tuna salad needless to say there was no lettuce, no cucumbers, no onions, no banana peppers, and I paid for the extra. Then I went to the store and confronted the owner and he said he didn't believe it. I will not be back to this store ever again

Props - Food is mostly fresh. Other than this, it's a Total fail. The people working here have ZERO people skills and this has gone on for years. When you walk in, you may receive a blank stare at best, no greeting. When you are waited on, still the blank stare and your food is prepped as if it's a bother to them. This falls totally on POOR Ownership and Management. NO pride in this store whatsoever. I miss Lenny's being out here. Always great food and employees who appreciated their jobs and customers.

I went and order two subs and gave them a coupon and the lady condescending says we don’t take coupons here. It would’ve been nice if there was some kind of disclaimer posted somewhere that they don’t take coupons before you get to the counter since they send out coupons every month and you see it on TV

I will never go back. There is a gentleman who works there who is always there during the day. I've gone in and seen him sniffling on several occasions. Today I saw him handling meat off the slicer with no glove, and then he sniffled, and wired his nose with his finger and back of his hand. It was totally disgusting. The manager didn't even seem too concerned, and the girl making my sandwich gave me a dirty look, when I complained. There are too many subways to go back and risk his nose snot

Food tends to be dry and disappointing. Does not except coupons. New cookie log might be best thing.

Stop in to pick up a quick ? after my grandsons football practice. He was in and out within a few minutes. Very much appreciated their quick service as it was a school night. Food was good, right temperature. We will be stooping in again.

Parking: Easy to get to. Large area available for Easy access to multiple shops. One of the 1st shopping centers in Oakland. Has a diverse businesses here.

Kid-friendliness: I've not seen a lot of children eating in but my 11 year old grandson and his friends like to go there and that tells me a lot when they're comfortable with the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are located in a strip center. There is parking at the door and you could get a wheelchair in without much trouble.

My days at this place are OVER!The female employees are great. However, the man that was making a sandwich Feb 9th actually popped a fallen piece of food into his mouth and chewed it.I thought it was funny at the time and just teased him. He just smiled and shook his shoulders. But thinking about it later, it was TOTALLY unacceptable!!!A BIG no no!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE! I asked for a foot long ham 6.99, she rang up 8.99. I asked her why she said the owner told her to charge for the premium sandwiches not the regular ham sandwich. But there is No difference but the price. She said he would fire her if she doesn’t cheat people like that. I’m filling a better business claim, that is fraud! how many people don’t catch that 2.00 price difference! I will never go back please check your receipts they are scamming people!

THE WORST SUBWAY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!As I walked in a small man child of an employee (short white male with a pepperoni face of acne) decides to talk to his coworker about “if more people show up then I’m just leaving I don’t care” from there I start giving my order trying to ignore his ignorance. I start with “for the first one I would like Italian” not saying Italian herbs and cheese and then he pulls out white bread so I tell him “no, it was supposed to be Italian” from there 22+ yo man child says “you should have said that then! You see the difference? This is Italian and this is Italian herbs and cheese “ but with any common sense he would know what I was talking about. I used to work at a sub shop and could clearly tell the difference of what people wanted without them saying the full name or not saying the real name due to simply not knowing. This man then decides to do it his way and ask for everything all at once, which is okay, but his demeanor and tone showed he had zero respect for the people helping pay his wages. Once he got to making our food he throws everything on the three sandwiches in huge amounts and with zero spread or skill. These were the messiest and trashiest thrown together sandwiches I have ever received. He made the sandwiches with straight up disrespect to us and kept talking to me and my brother as if we were stupid from the very start! He would look at us with a dumb look on his face to show his displeasure that he had to WORK. Every time I have come here in the past year I have received nothing but attitude from the teenage girls that work there and the adults. I have gone to many subways and sub places and have never been shown disrespect like I have with this one. Even if you are irritated that you have to work, put a smile on your face momentarily and then talk bad if you want to when everyone is gone, I understand that this is very normal in the service industry. This time the female employees were just doing their job but this small man that is 22+ years old for sure was extremely aggravated and did not want to do his job properly. If you are older than someone that is about to graduate university I suggest you get a real job for adults or go to a trade school! This man was the essence of what not to do as an employee in food service and the tutorial of how to get fired and not receive tips. He’s lucky I tend to avoid confrontations nowadays or else I would have asked for a manager and corporate immediately, so with that being said this is how I am confronting this so that anyone that reads this can understand what they will get into when they go to this subway. That man needs to be taught a lesson and I hope his employer sees this. He is not worthy of that job and his work ethic/performance is equal to pure trash.
