The Clubhouse Restaurant at Fair Oaks & Bogies Bar

We tried to go about a year ago, but unfortunately they said they hadn't been open since the pandemic and all they had was like microwave burgers for the golfers. Never went back, if it ever reopens let people know.

My sister and I are beginner golfers and went to Fair Oaks to play and practice for our first round The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome and the course was beautiful! We can’t wait to play our next round.

The course is always in great shape. However the help can sometimes leave a bad impression. Today I stopped by to use the range and the guy at the pro shop was very rude and condescending. I was informed that jeans and a Nike golf pullover weren’t proper golf attire I agreed with the guy that jeans aren’t necessarily proper attire, he went on to tell me that no only were my jeans not proper attire but that they were really trashy jeans. I managed to keep my response civil paid the guy for the range balls then he tried to short change me. I’ve played this course numerous times and have never felt so disrespected. Loved this place.

Had a bad experience in the past but have played there many times in 2019 and things couldn't be better

We really love the food. They made holidays like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day a great experience. The decor is very nice and the staff is very friendly!

The staff was helpful and the course was in very good shape. The only drawback was that it was cart path only, and the fairways are generous, so it made it a bit challenging to play 18 off the course.

The food here is very delicious. I will definitely be returning.

Haven't played in a while due to surgeries but it is a fantastic golfing experience! Well maintained and always a good test

My wife and I finally made it out to The Clubhouse Restaurant @ The Fair Oaks Golf Course for our first visit, and it did not disappoint! We had a reservation, so seating was immediate....guessing the restaurant was about half full when we arrived....the bar was completely full! I had salmon, house salad, baked sweet potato and a vegetable medley! My bride had the chicken marsala, house salad, baked sweet potato and vegetable medley. Food was presented in a very reasonable time....hot, and delicious! Our server, Katie, was fantastic! After dinner, we got the last two seats in the bar (Bogie's) and watched a little football before heading home! Bogie's had a nice "Friends" vibe to it! Found the pricing very reasonable! So......tired of "nothing but fast food places in Oakland?" Here's an answer! Recommend you get out and support The Clubhouse Restaurant! If I had to find something to complain about.....the dining area had too much light! Turn down the house lights and have slightly more robust lighting on each table. How about a little ambiance!? Also......parking lot was too dark! Need a light pole with a couple lights.....maybe the street side of the parking lot aimed toward the building. Doesn't need a lot....but would help customer safety and deter whatever parking lot mischief someone might be foolish enough to consider in Oakland!
