So it's been 7 years since my last review and this is still my favorite place to eat in Oakland. It's always fresh, always hot, always tasty!Here's what I'd recommend: XL Burrito, add cheese dip; Lamb Tacos; Carnitas Tacos; Street Rice; Street Corn; Tamales, add cheese sauce or salsa; Aqua Fresca to drink, the melon or pineapple are my favorites if pulp bothers you, get something else. My wife would add Volcano Tacos to this list. The staff is always nice and the restaurant is always clean. The price doesn't concern me as it's no more expensive than any other restaurant with this quality of food!

Went to check out this awesome restaurant. Great and vibrant decor that make the place pop with all of the color. The service was on point. When you enter the restaurant, you place your order with the server. Then another server brings out your food. Service was great and fast. We ordered and our appetizer of guacamole and chips came out. About ten minutes later our entree order arrived. The food was extremely fresh with a lot of good flavors and seasonings. I had a shrimp and a red snapper taco on a corn tortilla. The guacamole was super good with fried flour tortilla based chips versus corn tortilla chips. It reminded me of a cracker texture. It paired very well with the fresh guacamole. The chip was thick and very flavorful. Everything was awesome! Just be aware as you enter the restaurant on the left of the entrance, there is a boot scraper and I tripped over it as we walked inside. My foot got stuck in the scraper. Ouchie! I almost fell. Good thing there were chairs and tables outside. I fell on a chair to help me not fall and hurt myself even worse. My toe hurts and has a slight indention. Had to ice it when I arrived home. All in all, good food and I will be back! Good authentic street food. Everyone was very nice and friendly!

My favorite place for Mexican food, hands down!!! When I crave good Mexican street rice or tacos, nothing else with do. I also always get a fresh pineapple drink!

Xl burrito AMAZING. But closing on Saturday at 3 not amazing. But they could put cheese dip all up and down the burrito instead of at the end. I turn my burrito around and eat the butt of it first. Street taco hack

Love Street Tacos. I am partial to the shrimp soft tacos. Shrimp are very good and their sauce is also excellent. I always order "as is" with no changes to how they prepare it. The tamales are also very good. And, both the Street Fries and Street Rice are very good. They offer a small and large size. The small is more than enough for one person. But for sharing go with the large. Best Mexican in Oakland. I think most likely better than Memphis but I'm sure I haven't been to some there that are good. Way better than the other Mexican place around the corner. As a chain restaurant it is good. But Street Tacos is a treat!!

The Oakland TN location the Caucasian lady at the desk is ALWAYS RUDE TO PEOPLE OF COLOR, I wanted to not believe my husband but sure enough she looked over him & ask the that walked in 10 minutes behind him If she can help her instead of my husband. When he placed the order, she Stated that it's going to be 30 minutes for the pizza I'm here by myself. She also stated, very nasty I can't answer the phone and make pizza too because we called before we came.ALWAYS ALWAYS Rude!!!! WHY DO SHE EVEN SHOW UP AT WORK EVERYDAY WITH THAT ATTITUDE!

The employees are friendly. It was our first time there and they took the time to explain the menu and tell us about the favorites. The food came out quick and we did not leave hungry. The street tacos are a good size. We will be back again to try another taco! I had the tacos Al pastor, rice and beans. The tacos were authentic and we could have shared the rice and beans.

Great pizza tonight at Pizza Hut. Placed order online and it was just coming out when I got there. Tastemaker 3 topping pizza was cooked perfect. Way to go Pizza Hut.

Looking for a short drive lunch destination. Street Tacos fit the bill. About a 20-25 minute drive from home. Picked up the in-laws and headed there. Located in a strip shopping center but very inviting. Nice patio area. Friendly service and large menu. I had the chicken tacos & street corn. Both delicious. Wife and her parents had combo meals. Everyone agreed the food was very good and we will go back.

This place is delicious, especially for being in the middle of Tennessee. The food tastes authentic; you can tell from the salsa, the chips. Service has been good every time I've gone.- Chips and guac (4.5/5): Love the flour tortilla chips. Tastes super fresh. The guac is chunky with tomatoes. Lots of flavor- Al pastor tacos (4/5): Large portion of meat on each taco. Seasoned well, and super tasty.- Mexican street rice (3.5/5): Interesting flavors, lots going on and lots of add ins. It was yummy just a bit unexpected.
