Bang Bang Hibachi Express Old Hickory

Usually love this place. However over time the food and service has really gone down hill. Ordered a chicken hibachi plate and once I got home opened it up and 75% of the chicken was inedible. Called the place back to let them know and see if they would make it right and they said for me to bring it back so they could inspect it. I asked for a steak plate instead and they said they would charge me for the difference. Joke of a place that would not take accountability for their mistake.

Steak tasted off, vegetables and noodles were bad and soaked in sauce. Noodles were just spaghetti noodles with teriyaki sauce and spicy sauce. Sushi was fine, but can get better at Kroger. Service was good tho.

What a pleasant surprise! I rode up from Nashville with a friend to check out Tennessee Liquidators then we dropped in for lunch. I had the crab roll and tuna roll and they were incredibly fresh! I also split some delicious spring rolls with my friend. Don't let the fast food appearance of the place fool you - the food is top notch and very reasonably priced. This will be my go to place when in Old Hickory!

May 2025 & They have made huge improvements! I remember trying this place when it first opened I was highly disappointed but my husband just brought it home and the food is so much better!

Food is mid, ngl I was pretty disappointed the spicy noodles were spaghetti noodles vs lo mein, the chicken looked and tasted boiled with no season....yuck

I’ve ordered from their other location on Dickerson Pike without issue, but our food was stolen here. The workers wouldn’t pick up the phone for us to ask which one of our FIVE uber drivers who kept cancelling the order took it. 4-17-2025 @ 8:55pm. Do better.

I've heard about the food being very good last night was my first time trying it and it didn't disappoint I enjoyed my food and would go back

Best Japanese food ever and yum yum sauce is so good

I love this place. If you did not know, you can order ANYTHING spicy. Great food. Omg the food is just amazing

Every visit has been great. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is consistently delicious. Rice cooked perfectly. Also very affordable.
