“YUMMY YUMMY!!! We left the Hermitage and wanted to go somewhere close to grab a burger, and this was the first option. We got seated immediately, our waitress was so sweet, and the food was.... Oh my gosh... obviously fresh, hot, and *delicious*. I got the Patty melt and fries, my husband got country fried steak with hashbrowns and a cinnamon roll. Portions were perfect and we left there feeling so full and happy that we gave it a try!“

“Monthly trip to Nashville. We typically have breakfast at the Broken Yolk. This time we decided to try Sun Diner. This will be our new breakfast diner! The atmosphere is very "Nashville" with songs playing by Cash, Elvis, etc. Service is VERY good. Lily was our server and she never stopped moving. This is a busy place, I don't know if there is a wait time. We did not have to wait . The menu is great, large food portions or smaller sides if you need less. We really enjoyed this! Thank you“

“Good service, very quick. Pleasant waitstaff. Greek influenced food, though still very American. We had chicken and rice soup. Very good. A riff on Greek avgolemono soup without the egg yolk and lemon thickener. I would have liked that. We had a house salad and shared a grilled cheese. I asked for Swiss cheese (lactose intolerant), with tomato and bacon. Again, very good though somewhat plain. My partner had a cannoli for dessert. There were lots of scrumptious desserts on offer. Pricing was reasonable.“

“The Pork Belly here is so delicious! The DJ playing on Saturday was amazing! All the staff were super nice, we went back for a late dinner and drinks again on Sunday before we had to fly home. My vegetarian friend said the lentil empanada was so good she bought some to take home.“

“Y'all. This place is a hidden gem. It says "Jerry's Grill" on the outside, but I don't know who Jerry is--Ali is the guy who makes the magic happen. The "menu" is really a collection of papers posted around the counter. But you don't really need to spend time reading it. Just ask Ali what's good, and he'll make you something delicious. He makes up specials based on what's fresh and tasty, and he's never wrong. Many of the menu items consist of variations on wraps or subs filled with fried chicken, grilled ham or turkey, cheese, vegetables, and so on. Fries (plain or loaded with cheese/bacon) are a standard side. Some highlights: The shrimp is great. The marinara is homemade. The falafel is incredible. But seriously, it's all good.“
